his TvT and TvP was nice to watch back in the days, his games vs TheMarine and Boxer and Garimto in the 2nd KoK league were very memorable.

Your life must be really really sad if all you can think is the money you "lost" playing this game. Didn't you enjoy the time spent? didn't you enjoy making new friends online? Don't you enjoy coming here on these forums and read about all these korean pros? Is money more important than happiness?
I have enjoyed every minute i spent on this game (except for some very long tvts :D), and i'm a happy man

you mean liquibition
MAYBE he'll still play, I kind of doubt it
|
I kind of don't want him to play and lose because he isn't practicing anymore I don't want his last result to be a loss vs a mediocre player, kind of an insult to his memory

gundam will you marry me?

always when legends die it doesnt mind if its in computer games ports or anything else the good thing is everybody even the ones who disliked him feel soory for him and his fans. after his injury i really hope he gets a good life now gl hf V-Gundam

I hate yooi. if newbie ass yooi manages to qualify for WCG 2005 in Singapore, I will annihilate him 2-0 under the ID "Vengeance for Gundam"
but the bw scene will be so empty without gundam.. maybe he won't play in liquibition anymore.. I feel so affraid.
Maybe gundam will change his mind! There is always hope. I'll talk to him soon, you'll see.
Who am I kidding..deep down I realise it.. it's over =[
what does yooi have to do with gundam?

Nobody remembers Ssamjang >_<

Isn't he going to have to go to the army in a year anyways?
|
yooi killed him 2-0 and made him feel like retiring
that post wasn't really serious, i wanted to make a denial/anger/fear/hope/acceptance joke, but it seems like nobody got it or else nobody thought it was funny
what can I say? everybody knows me knows that gundam is my number one favourite player and him leaving brood war makes me feel terrible, but it's his life and I hope he does whatever makes him happy.. it's not like he died here guys
but know this; I don't care how much better people will get at bw, I don't care if there will once be a day where the level is so high that the average player is better than gundam was in his prime, gundam will ALWAYS be number one because (to me) nobody else was at his level when brood war was young and getting good required the talent, persistance and insight that only a hanful others like giyom had. You can never outclass a legend.
|
im glad some of you are finally using the "became a useless man" excuse realising you cant live off of broodwar forever, and in the long run it hurts you as a progamer making a living. Ive been hating this whole sponsored gameplay for a long time precisely because of this. They tantalize youth by dangling petty cash in front of them and demand ridiculous schedules and lifestyles of them so that they can continue to make their millions at the expense of people who suddenly wake up one day 25 with no education or work experience. You think any employer is really gonna give a shit about how famous you are when you cant even work a cash register? Besides fame, rekrul kinda made it seem like progaming isnt exactly as big in korea as well think, but rather this one little niche market that garners a lot of hype. The avg person, including employer, could care less when it comes to affecting their business and their ability to make money.
I think these progamers seriously need to organize some kind of union, and demand higher wages and better working enviroments, etc.
