My friends and I play 20k goon defense on iccup and I was wondering has anyone actually beaten this?
If so, how did you do it?
or how did you get far?

I still prefer the hydras version because I found that first, but goons are aight. Cloaked ghosts is really annoying, but I couldn't make mass tanks work. Hero goons just make mincemeat of them too quickly if you only mass tanks.

Some tips I think might be of some use. 1. Marines with stim work wonders. Get a medic, and stim marines before putting them inside the bunker before the dragoons strike. Bring them out before the next wave strikes so you can stim them once more. 2. Tanks suck balls. Don't use them unless you know what you are doing. 3. Never hesitate to pull SCVs to repair bunkers, once they are in low health, you're pretty much done. 4. Try to save up money to buy additional SCVs, they're definitely worth the cash. 5. In case of emergency, use SCVs to buy time against dragoons. Get them to build a bunker way out in front of your burning bunkers, let them get to red health before pulling them back. Use the low health SCVs to repair bunkers, but don't use them to make additional bunkers because they will get shot down fast. 6. I'm not a big fan of producing factory units, so I tend to use floating factories early on to buy me some time while I make further bunkers instead of repairing from the get go. The game really does get easier once you have your second bunker up. The game is all about cutting all the little corners you can think of in order to get your second bunker up ASAP, then you can do pretty much whatever you want. 7. Tanks suck balls. If you see someone next to you making them, tell them to stop because while the map is pretty easy if everyone knows what they're doing, it gets infinately harder if someone next to you has no idea what they're doing. That's all I can think of. Hope this helps in some small way.

I'll share with you PRO secret. Me and my friends beat it all the time. secret there is... SCV. at start, 1 players uses 1 scv to tour the goons/hydras/w/e around the map, while every one builds. from there, its a matter of finishing the bunkers, tanks, upgrades, nuke ghosts. barracks float to tank damage, and lots and lots of scv micro. GL.

GL. This is true. Another option (if you know everyone else is going to die) is to float your CC and factory to the high ground on the other side. It takes a little work--you need to distract the goons with an scv. Once you get the CC and factory to the other side, start building tanks and upgrading vehicle weapons. Siege them up just outside of goon range, and you can kill the goons when they spawn. You won't net many kills at first, but once all the other noobs on your team get owned by the hero dragoons and zealots, the units will crowd the map and then be pushed into range of your tanks. Clean up the units (albeit slowly) and build an scv if you need to repair. It takes a while (bout an hour), but you can get the job done. Also, you can pull by building a trail of machine shops (they're free).
