well thats not really me, i watched every OSL MSL final for quite a few years, i played BW before wc3, i didnt really follow the proleague, i would watch it with one of my friends who was quite into BW and he would tell me who the players were and i can recognise by face about the top10 players, but i dont know the rosters of teams etc
i thought it might be the wc3 violet because i havent seen him playing in a while, and thought he may have gone to sc2, and since hes in korea and plays e sports proffesionaly, its not a stretch to think he would be friends with people like flash? Football players would undoubtably have friends who are baseball players

It seems really weird that you wouldn't know a very well known BW player despite following the scene for multiple years, especially before you knew a WC3 player with a similar tag and assumed that it was him, despite this forum having nothing to do with WC3.
It's all a big tangent and isn't that big a deal, though. All you need to know is that Violet was a very popular and lively BW player, one of the very few who showed any sort of attachment to TL itself, who suddenly became ill with cancer very recently. Teamliquid put together a project to wish him a speed recovery, and even put a little ribbon for him next to its name to show its support. He was on the KT team, and that's why we got a bunch of responses from KT players.
Your mistake was an honest one, even if it was a bit weird.
