Is it really coming back? :X On March 18 2015 13:24 Dumbledore wrote: What features do you have in mind? I haven't had a look at the game before but shouldn't be too difficult. I think most important feature lacking right now is player retirement and depreciation of player skills. And there was also a big bug that prevented matches from starting that really needs fixing. I think hraagh was trying to fix that but gave up apparently. But there are really many things that could use some work. If you need some help understanding the battle system, I can give you some basic explanation as a lot of the things there were suggested by me.

2) Playoffs. There was never any playoff system and this made things a bit boring after several seasons. I think the NFL (american football) playoff system could work really well for each league. The winner and runner up advance and each get a shiny badge or icon on their team page with the league name and season # for everyone to see. 3) Drafting new players & remove amateur league. After the season/playoffs are over each league has a chance to draft from a pool of new/young players. The players hidden potential can range from mid-high with a mix of decent players that can play right away. The team that gets last gets to pick first, then the team second to last goes next and so on. This is an exciting feature in other manager games and allows everyone to customize their rosters. 4) If #1 and #4 get added than perhaps slightly speed up the training rates of players. It was cool first seeing players get into double digits. 5) Zerg was slightly OP lol.

Another big problem that i forgot about was experience. Simply put, newer players can never catch up with older ones, because of experience. This might be less of a problem once retirement is implemented, but an easy solution is to cap the experience at some value like 10 or something. Edit: For zerg being OP, there are a lot of problems with the battle system honestly, and huge chunks of it needs to be rewritten probably ![]()

Playoffs A playoff system for each of the individual leagues that feature the top 6 or even 8 from the league. A possible Winners League type format as a mid season playoff to switch things up a bit from being bland for the entire season. Coaches Once a player retires there should be an option for them to become a coach to for training your players. Say you had a Terran player who you decided to retire, if you make them a coach for your Terran players when training they should receive a small boost in skill depending on the skill level of the coach. A coach with 12 Macro would give a bigger boost than one with 11 Macro. Say you had two great players who retired but were both Zerg and you had a open spot for a Zerg and Protoss coach. You could make one of the retired Zerg coach the Protoss players but there would be a big hit in the skill boost since they are training players from one of the other two playable races.
