SKT have recently been ridiculously strong for a long time because every team member, no matter how bad they might be, have an actual place on the team instead of being Jaedong's or Flash's practice servants. So, from your point of view Flash and JD should be ashamed of themselves coz they don't slump like Fanta and Bisu? BTW I doubt that strong player in the team can stop development of the others.

BTW I doubt that strong player in the team can stop development of the others. When your golden boy (example: Jaedong having personal dinners with the late Coach Cho's family) gets all the attention, people around you tend to get jealous and lose motivation to perform. Its the coach's duty to make sure this type of stuff doesn't happen, something that SKT's coach and CJ's Coach Cho seemed to do especially well. I do believe a strong player can stop development in a whole team because they get most of the attention from the coaches. When KT gave their lesser players "special training" during the offseason before the 09-10 Proleague season, they performed like Gods...people like Violet played so well that they looked like top players. I wouldn't be surprised that after Flash kept making finals, they put a lot more emphasis on his performance seeing he gave KT a good name by winning everything. I mentioned Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher for a reason. Ferrari management forced Rubens to follow team order and let the "better" Schumacher win because he was the team's ace so to speak: its not really the fault of the players but really the fault of the people who call the shots. While progaming won't have anything that extreme (even the Hwasin and Calm incident wasn't that bad), preferential treatment can be disastrous to team relationships and I wouldn't be surprised if that is actually part of the reason for KT's massive crash this season. So should the players be ashamed for performing well? No they should be proud of their achievements. As I thought I clearly stated, it wouldn't surprise me if Forgg has massive issues with KT's coaching staff and quit because of lack of attention. Heck, KT is probably the team I think of when people mention players getting angry at each other (Sair chewing out Flash for losing to cheese, the whole of KT basically chewing out Tempest for a bad performance).

I'm wondering about the retirement "canceling" rules, though. Would it theoretically be possible for someone(ForGG in this case) to retire, giving Flash the chance to win the tiebreaker and get into the MSL and win it, and could ForGG ask to get back into the team afterwards(If there even was a tiebreaker, none here... meh this post is feeling so pointless -_-)? This is completely hypotethical, I'm just wondering about the rules and if this would be legal or possible(not implying that this is what they're doing). Oh, but I hope he'll play SC2. That'll be AMAZING, especially if he plays Terran(timing attacker + timing attack game + timing attack race = win).

I mentioned Rubens Barrichello and Michael Schumacher for a reason. Nice example. So how about Rubens performance after team changing? It was mediocrity, despite Michael absence. And it was his performance in Ferrari that gave him standing ground to claim more attention for his person. How you can ask the same treatment as number one if your performance not good? You theory would be true only if ForGG has showed some splendid performance and KT coach continued to ignore him. If you want to be treated like a star then start wining games, use your jealousy as motivation (and note there are no evidences that ForGG was treated badly). Two top players can be obstacles for each other, top and others - no. When KT gave their lesser players "special training" during the offseason before the 09-10 Proleague season, they performed like Gods Yeah, and then massive Bisu slump was due to massive care from the coach side I believe? Tons of players have ups and downs, today Violet is gosu, few days later: welcome to B lvl again. Thats why S players so different: they are stable. Keep it simple. ForGG just slumped and after few attempts to recover decided to quit. And add to this that SCBW's future not so bright and we even can't be sure of the next season. girls get along better than boys From my experience it is totally opposite =)

I just hope that we don't see more of KTFlash and JaedongOz's players leaving the SC1 scene simply because they're terrible compared to Flash or Jaedong.
