ForGG, your loss didn't affect me as much as Effort's, but I hope your retirement turns out to be the best thing for you. KTRo(f)lster will miss you.

ForGG's MSL run > Effort's OSL run! He must have timed this REALLY well somehow, the crispness of this build is never seen before and that no progamer would be able to pull off.

his series vs. Kal in the Arena MSL is still my all time favorite series. Its gonna be sad to see him go

so sudden!!!! it will be interesting to see what's his next plan.

Hahahaha this put such a huge grin on my face. XD

Never ever liked this guy. Never showed any emotion and was so inconsistent.
However it is always sad to see a big named player go out. Peace yo.

I'm sad to see ForGG go. It was great to see him flourish in KT during last season's ProLeague.
Good luck in the future, ForGG!

I'm sad that ForGG is no longer with us
But I'm so happy that Perfectman has an even greater chance to advance.

aww that sucks i know he wasn't as good as he used to be but ForGG really wasn't bad at all, definitely a solid player on KT. So i doubt it was because of an issue like that.

How long until he switches to sc2?
|
what? whyyy he's actually entertaining... two of my favorite terrans left/got banned what do i doooo T_T
|
finally this guy leaves... i dont relaly like his games..

Fan or not, it's never good (for the community) when a well-known player retires like that. Hope he resolves whatever issues that caused him to make this sudden and drastic decision. But he of all people would have done it at a good timing~
Maybe SC2 is for him... with the frequent all-ins and timing attacks, but I hope he doesn't switch (at least not so soon), that would show a little weakness from backing out of KT. Losses or not, I don't doubt that he's a pretty good asset to the team.
And yea lol at the timing comment
PS: Lol, my LB has Perfectman > ForGG for first round, but ForGG and Midas advancing, /facepalm >< woulda gotten something
Double edit: People without BW team tags coming in asking how long till he switches to SC2 are a little rude imo. His retirement is a loss to the BW community, doesn't seem right to rub it in...

This is definitely alarming news that came out of nowhere. Although ForGG didn't really leave that big of an impression on me other than his timing attacks that everyone always laughed about, he was definitely a key strong Terran player for KT and was an invaluable member to them. Who knows how much KT as a team is suffering right now without such a clutch player.
I hope that it's not because of major family or inner crisis reasons that ForGG is suddenly retiring, and wish him the best of luck in the future with whatever he'll be doing, whether he decides to return to pro gaming or not.
Thanks for the fast article translation infinitestory and to Ryo for confirming that there will be no wildcard playoff for his spot. 2010 has been a really shitty year for BW. Simply tragic.

always sad to see somebody go, especially when it's because they hit deep slump and just can't get out of it. i've seen it happen so much in sports and other games, it's a little disheartening.
|
well if this guy plays SC 2 then it's possible we could have a good terran hero Anyway good luck to whatever he wants to do
