I am just curios about the player from USA, Gadianton. Does anyone know what kind of "victorys" he did. Like, did he ever go to Korea, kicking the boxers ass or something? Or anything else... Please tell me!

he won the PGL StarCraft Season 3 1998 Tournament and probably some other stuff

He was D23-Gad, Kali player. Played in one of gameguru's canada vs usa tourneys, i think. Or perhaps kali vs b.net. Loooong ago

I think he might have randomed during that pgl actually. although I'm definitely not certain, I just have this lingering memory of him saying something like that.

its right. he randomed when he won pgl. I know because when I bought the wingman gaming mouse with his picture on the back, I had to find out what kind of guy this was

Then he was mad on blizzard for making a new patch since he had proved that sc was balanced when he won the tourney with random.

Gadianton is a really old school player that was a sole protoss player. Yes he was the one who popularized the 9/10 zealot gate rush. im not sure if hes the one who actually originated it but he is the one that popularized it just as maynard popularized that money transfer. he used to call that 9/10 build the "generic protoss build". he won pgl tournament as someobdy stated earlier i beleive, was a kali player solely when kali was big back in the day and he was in the kali vs b.net tournament that somebody here mentioned years ago however at that time he was beggining to quit the game and wasnt up to par of what he was when he played often. he faded out of the scene fairly quicklly due to lack of interest in the game and i think he went to school or soemthing as well which also contributed to him quiting. he was completely out of the scene totally about i would say 9 months before grrr, pillars, maynard and thor all started going to korea. he was definitely a good player back in the day...one of the big namers.

yes u guys are right he did random in that pgl tournament and won simply to make a statement. aside from that he never did anythign special.

Gadianton went on a Mission. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Chirst of latter days saints (also called Mormon church)... and in the age of 19-20 or something the boys goes out on a mission, preaching the gospel to the world.
BTW; Gadianton is a name from the Book Of Mormon, Gadianton was a gang of thiefs very criminal ones

. So that's is the answer why he quited play. There were something that meant more to him; The Church.
