mumyung was never that horrible, mensrea's evil smear campaign at work
alright I've said he is horrible too ^_^
but anyway rainbow was a pretty bad toss player and being on Boxer's team has helped him a LOT. Iloveoov went from unknown to best in the fucking world. Mumyung has the best record in televised tournaments of all the players Boxer has scouted for development, and I think he could become a good player.
Boxer's judgement shouldn't be trusted 100% though; Zerglee, Nissi~Shaki, and Kos are some examples (I love Kos T_T)

mumyung has always been missing something in his game that made him a "top" player. He always seem to somehow qualify into those big televised leagues, then somehow get washed out badly.
terato definitely has good potential.

And KTF, like real madrid, should by now realize that you can't buy a top team. I mean wtf. After joining KTF, the collective record of Yellow, Ra, Sync, TheMarine, Oddysay is something like 4-15? Not a pretty sight.
lol you overrate boxer x 10, iloveoov was good before he joined SK, and i believe he would've been just as good playing for Toona for example. And the only other successful player in T1 (Kingdom) was certainly NOT an unknown pro before he joined up with the team.

I'm wondering what mensrea has to say about this transfer : )

you guys say mumyung sucks because he only qualifyed for the big leagues and then loses badly, but on the other side you're praising terato even though he hasn't qualified for anything?
like booooo said mumyung is just missing something that makes him a top player, and imo its the lack of good practice partners. give him 1 or 2 months in SK T1 and i think he will be alot better than now.

Yeah T1 need zergs like mum for sure'-'
|
they should have taken some talent like niza if possible
|
mumyung will be a great help to skt1 and will help boxer practice more tvz games.not sure about terato though..

Yeah mumyung sure sucks - he's made it into Starleague like 5-6 times and done very well in duel tournament as far as I can remember. He's fucking consistant -_-

Using that logic, Boxer should hire more T, P, and Z because he is slumping unlike he has ever slumped in his life. He should just retire and start managing a team.

Uhm yeah possibly, but he sure as hell accelerated the process now didn't he -_- You could see a remarkable change from the earliest games on tv of his to him exploding and winning MBC~

Just watch and see how he does You can't start screaming "BOXER IS BACK!" because he beat out a bunch of amateur gamers who shouldn't even be on the same level as him to get into a Starleague. Boxer slumps on and off now. He'll lose several games badly and then win a game. Every time he wins a game (or a pair of games) all of the Boxer fanatics start screaming that this is the beginning of his comeback. It hasn't happened over the last 4-5 months and I strongly doubt it will happen in the Starleague either. Qualifying for it just means that he'll be playing better competition and lose even faster. Do you truely see Boxer being able to compete with oov/Nada/Xellos/Reach/July(if he doesn't do the post-starleague thing)? I personally see him getting walked over.
|
Well yeah with Boxer/Oov/Kingdom/Rainbown for practice partners both Mumyung and Terato will grow like monsters :O
But they had better choices instead of Mumyung though. Like July, Max, Zergman, Stay, Oversky, IPXZerg, and all that.

And Boxer can still on any given day compete and beat them~ :O Btw, a few months ago everyone was on the bandwagon posting how Terato is the hottest new rising star, maybe you guys over-hyped him too much! I think he will have a good run with T1 and become an established protoss user

just wait and see...
I give you full permission to shoot this back in my face if I end up being wrong.

mumyung will be better than ever
he's more accomplished than many ppl when they joined t1

Yeah, especially Max, he seems to be on fire after beating themarine 2-0 and doing well in the challenge league. Maybe.
