But since its default is in fast its just crappy to keep changing it. he obviously knows how to set the speed, but he wants it set right off the get-go.

if - you can change the game speed while you're in the game - it doesnt save the speed you set AND - there exists a registry key for this single player game speed THEN - WHAT THE FUCK IS THE KEY USED FOR?!?!?! therefore i suspect there is no key remedies: USING MENU QUICKLY. when you go into the menu in single player, the game is paused. you don't lose much time. just press the ol f10 (menu) and then o (options) and then p (speed) set the scrollbar and there you go. i've seen grr adjust his scroll speed quite quickly in a vod in this manner. i guess people who are accustomed to playing in many live events are accustomed to adjusting things like scroll speed at the beginning of the game. of course in single player, the game speed is in there too. PLAYING SP IN MULTI. if early game distractions are really such a big issue for you during your single playering perhaps you want to play SP in multiplayer mode. to do this you have to create or obtain extracted maps from the campain. of course, when you host a multiplayer game you set the speed before the game so you dont have to set it during the beginning of the game. if you do it on bnet, then the previous speed is automatically saved. CONCLUSION. pressing ++++++++ is there for a reason and is probably the easiest method short of creating a hack to modify the speed for you automatically! or perhaps that elusive registry key does exist and some bug prevents the chosen speed from being saved.
