I don't usually post on TL that much, and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post such a thing, but I have followed Broodwar for a long time and am currently living in Osaka, Japan. I had two friends visiting from America today, and we were walking around Kyoto visiting temples and stuff, when I suddenly stumbled upon 4 SKT1 members.
The two guys on the left are protoss players, then there's Best[White], and the guy on the right is apparently the protoss coach. It looks like the SKT1 team was on vacation and everybody split up into 3-4 groups and went all over Kyoto to visit different places (including Bisu and Fantasy). At that time I thought.... what are the odds that that one vacation which they probably take all year would be in Kyoto, Japan, and what are the odds that I who also probably go to Kyoto no more than once a year happen to meet them in front of the Kyoto Imperial Palace at that particular instant?
They asked me where I was from and I replied ("Vietnam"). To be honest they looked really happy that somebody recognized them in Japan. I congratulated them on the STX Cup win, to which they replied it's all thanks to to Fantasy's all-kill. Best told me he was supposed to go after Fantasy, to which I replied jokingly it's OK even if Fantasy fails Best would all-kill anyways :D We were having a really good 2-3 minutes of conversation. And no...they don't really speak English and most of it was hand gestures and English Korean.
What a pleasant coincidence. Thanks a bunch for sharing.
The guy on the right is Doctor.K, who is SKT T1's player-turned-coach for protosses.
Best's fingers also looked kind of weird in the group photo at the SKT T1 summer camp but I thought it might have been due to circumstances around the photo, but more than one photo means it's likely that his fingers are actually different.
Oh wow, one of the guys is still even wearing his summer camp T-shirt.

Pretty awesome story, seems you really lucked out. Also I find Best's crooked fingers funny because that is what mine look like when I try to hold them straight from doing this too much as a kid (just searched double jointed fingers on google for that pic). Wonder if his fingers got that way from doing the same thing.

That is such is a cool experience and chance meeting? Quick, to all TL.net members in Kyoto, we need MOAR pictures with SKT1 players. Speaking of messed p looking-fingers, be on special alert for FanTaSy in Japan. Those pictures would be great.
