my guess is that 뱅 is just a shortened/pet nickname of 병구... like how 탱(구) is a shortened nickname of 태연 (as in 김태연 from 소녀시대)

baeng goo is a cuddly nickname for byung goo

edit: as for the origins of the nickname, i have no idea, but my guess is fans came up with it to make byung rhyme with taek during their famed protoss twotop rivalry, creating the taekbangrok

All the TaekBaengLeeSsang are going to meet each other in the round of 16.
When I saw Stork advance, I didn't want to be the only one out of TaekBaengLeeSsang to not advance. All 4 of us are advancing but I want to be the one who survives the longest out of all of them.

The four players themselves really should incorporate more implication to the "TaekBaengLeeSsang" nick more in their interviews, creating a heighten sense of rivalry and make the scene more competitive.

It is an honor to be named in such a way, despite also being a burden.

Lastly, I wonder what Jaedong thinks about the fact that he has not lost a single ZvP for 13 months except against Bisu and Stork.
