Though, Apple seriously needs to make an option to turn off mouse acceleration. That annoys me every time I use OS X now.

So either use bootcamp, or get somebody to improve wine for osx so it works with SC and the antihack.

I don't mind playing against people with no AH if I know I am much better (i.e. even if they hack, I'd still probably win), but as I close in on my real rank and grind points to move up, I get cautious and stop playing against those with no AH. People on the Internet are just plain sordid ![]()

How does that work? you can use any mouse with a mac, i may be one of the only people who do use the original one button one that comes with a mac. basically, there's a command button on either side of the spacebar, holding that + click = right click. been doing it that way since i was 8 lol, guess i'm just used to it. For the OP, yeah i know what you mean no Lan Latency sucks, i'd suggest creating your own games on iccup as you'll usually get banned from games others have made. at least thats what i do if you're having trouble setting up ICCup in the first place it's super easy go look on the forums at iccup.com

Terminal: defaults write .GlobalPreferences com.apple.mouse.scaling -1 Then relog. Or just use USB Overdrive or one of the other third party utilities to turn it off. No worse than having to edit the registry in Windows really, it's just less well known.

Microsoft actually makes pretty good mice; I consider Windows just the drivers for the mouse.
