Getting on ICCUP on a Mac

I take no credit what-so-ever for this information. It's directly copied from this link on the ICCUP homepage.

How To Connect to ICCup Server
For those that do not know yet, it is possible and fairly easy to connect on a Mac computer. Make sure you have registered on the iccup website (and have an account) before proceeding.

Here is how to do it:

1. Download "Battle.net Commander (the new mac gateway editor program) here: [link]
2. Open it, and click the "Starcraft Tab"
3. Click the "+" icon in the bottom left of the window that pops up.
4. In the "name" field enter ICCup. In the "address" field type "sc.theabyss.ru"
5. For timezone, select whichever you are in.
6. In the Starcraft Data Port field type: 6112.
7. Click save and close the application

There! You should now be able to connect to the ICCup server!

I imagine the hard part for Mac users is that the antihack doesn't work, so you'll be kicked from a lot of games. There probably aren't that many hacks for the Mac version of Starcraft anyway, so it's a tad ironic...

That is indeed a problem. However BWHFAgent works on Mac so we do have an anti-hack program. I'll get around to posting a guide to that later.

It's not that we can't connect to iccup it's that we can't play any games because the iccup launcher doesn't work on macs.

If you can install Wine on the mac, it will run the antihack launcher, just got to put windows 95~98 compatibility mode on the launcher. But then you need the windows version of starcraft too. Some of the chaoslauncher features wont work but the antihack does, confirmed on linux.

I will definately have to try this out later. The Mac version of Wine is, by the way Darwine.
