It should show it automatically on join like ICC, but this hasn't been a problem so far.

Never heard about this problem... I think in that case you can install bnet gateway editor and manually add the server in a list. ip is 208.86.227.173

what has it said while crashing? try to update launcher, may be that will help. red x means that starcraft server does not have a connection with a launcher. it might be your firewall, anti-virus. sometimes you have to wait for a few seconds before they recognize each other. however you should have an opportunity to play games via create/join. Try to reinstall launcher with 3-party programs switched off

Thank you) About the maps. Ladder maps are in the Sc2tv map pack, which is installed with launcher directly to your map folder. also it has a number of non ladder maps included maps with obs. all the maps are half sized than the iccup's ones. it means smaller wight of replays and quicker downloading, if your opponent doesn't have a map.

No one from the lobby can join games created via find (they are password protected), but the opponent race is defined as a race, witch a person play the most. So there is no forbid for an opponent to change race in the created game menu.

windowed mode is the best way to solve this problem (it's in the launcher's plugins list)

Yeah I use window mode in win7 but it runs really sluggish, nothing responds right, attack moves are ignored etc unless I play really really slowly

Strange... We most of our fp-streamers use windowed mode without any problems

I managed to solve my problem with a gateway editor, for some reason when it installed it put the ip under Timezone and timezone under IP, but its working now and im owning it up
Also a small suggestion if it hasn't been suggested yet or i just dont know how to do it, would it be possible to make a list of maps that you want to play, like for instance if you wanna practice on 3 maps, so the auto match just sends you to games with those 3 maps.
Edit: oh i see thats been covered above, never mind then, but if you managed to make it happen it would be awesome <3

I got a decent elo within a few hours and ended up playing some games with a B rank (apparently) zerg. So the ranks divide pretty fast.

It didn't detect my first win but after that it's been okay. Should search for opponents with similar locations though, since sometimes you get connected to someone with really bad lag.
Garnet, after a few games it will autodetect.. with some problems.. If you lose games to a race without having games you've won, it will think you were your opponents race for some reason.

i just played my first game and i have to say this auto matching thing is pretty fucking cool. I hit find and i was in a game in like 2 seconds. It lagged a bit but im sure that was just me or my opponents fault.
edit: k just tried another game and for some reason it's very laggy even though me and my opponent had very low ping.

There are definitely some solid players already on the ladder. I gave sr.control, the ladder leader, his only TvZ loss 16-1 but he is B rank on icc.
