Q: The map pool is said to be very difficult for Zerg players. Jaedong: ... Of course, the preparation is going to be stressful, but there’s only one game to prepare for. It’s good to take control by telling yourself that there’s only a single game to play for each map.
Haha. Yes... that must be a very comforting thought.
Epic interview, thanks.

Wow, thanks so much for the translation. The entire interview made me feel warm and fuzzy, I'm glad Flash and Jaedong get along so well.
It's been said before but "I’ve already mentioned in past interviews that results won’t matter as long as I participate in what I dream to be the greatest finals ever; I want everything to be perfect." was heart breaking. I really respect Flash for this sentiment, if anyone's seen Troy its exactly like Achilles, he only fought for the legacy he would leave behind. Flash knows he'll get many opportunities for trophies, what he wants is to carve a spot in history through unforgettable memories.

did Jaedong really mention Iccup?

Thanks for the translation, great read.

very good read.
one note to the translators: koerans know what leessangrok and taebaekrok means, but the foreigners don't. of course the best translation might be to leave it as that rather than trying to find english substitutes, but we have NO IDEA about what it means.
it would have been a good idea to put in parentheses some kind of english translation of that, no matter how awkward (so that we have some idea of the meaning) and then continue to use leesangrok and taebaekrok throughout the article.
the part when flash says "anything -rok" is good and "leessangrok" sounds the coolest, is a good portion to exemplify this need.
what is "rok"? if we know the meanings of leessang and taebaek, then we can at least imagine why he thinks leessang sounds the best.
i'm korean-american, and pretty fluent at korean myself, but not when it comes to vocabulary like this. i can only imagine the blanks in the foreigners' heads when the two terms are repeatedly thrown around with any etymology or rough translation of the meanings.

Funny bump, but so worth it. I missed it the first time around!
Great read. Great.

Wow how did i miss that great job!! I love the pics too!

awesome interview! Hope these two meet in the korean air OSL final. The storylines and hype would be amazing... and hopefully there won't be a power outage this time.

I remember the day he passed the qualifying stages by defeating Backho. We didn’t expect him to get knocked out by some rookie, but Backho said that his opponent was “way too good”. Backho seemed almost traumatized by the whole thing.
lol, and that was the beginning of the end for backho.
edit: just finished reading, wow that was a long interview, thank you so much for the translation

Sorry for bumping this but it's a really good interview and the poster must have taken many hours to do it. I hope people that missed it will have an opportunity to enjoy it as well.
