Oh right, because its impossible to define what is actually cheese and what is just aggressive play, and making rules like that basically eviscerates the essence of StaCraft. Instead, maybe just learn to defend another D/D+ player "cheesing" you ![]() QFT. I had one of my players practice a cheese for eval match, ended up failing and he still won the game... he successfully defended a ling allin the first real week in his game. It's not like these things take no skill =p

Viper is one of our strongest players, if only he'd show up on time for matches -_- you'll be pretty disappointed with our match, i told viper my entire strategy before game by accident (forgot hes in friendlist) and when i went into game i had no idea what to do so if floundered. I'm sure I would have lost anyway, even was i putting in my best game. but I would have at least put up a fight before dying, this was just a roflstomp

I just don't think that spending your time fine tuning an all-in cheese build is a very effective way for a low level player to become better at the game. Why not? If you can cheese and win well at a high level, you are just as much a legitimate player. It's not like anyone could just cheese a progamer... There are progamers who allin more than others too. Obviously you need to know how to play standard sometimes as well, but I don't think anyone is practicing 100% cheese for every week.

Its the same as saying someone who focuses on making their micro really really good instead of focusing on macro is not learning right. It may not be the important thing, but a player HAS to know how to all-in and cheese, not just to keep a variation in his play, but because knowing how to cheese and all-in dramatically increases your understanding of how it works, and thus your ability to stop it.

QFT... I always had troubles with terran all-ins (sending marines nonstop from proxy rax, without any transition) and until i started doing it myself (even when it is not my main race) I started seeing the main flaws of those kind of attacks and just simply exploit them as a protoss.
