A Brief History of Two Years
New Beginnings Season 1 (Winter-Spring 2009) January 21: Princeton discovers a rival in nearby Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and promptly prepares for pelvic ceremonies. MIT responds to Princeton’s challenge with video-editing and overused soundtracks. February 13: Chicago and THE Ohio State University celebrate the first season with an exhibition match. February 14: Rice and Emory skip out on Valentine’s Day to play some SC. February 21: It begins. Twenty six schools, six weeks of Swiss, and a top eight in the making. February 22: Princeton takes on Rice in Round 1 + Show Spoiler +April 6: The top 8 emerge. April 7: And then there were four. April 24: Texas expresses its fear of vespene geyser tricks and Asians. April 26: The Finale. Berkeley snags the win with a solid 3-0, ending the season with a flash of insurmountable dominance.
Intermission Season 2 (September 1) The summer is quiet, and CSL disappears under the radar for three months of backstage planning. The administration, gathered in a Maryland suburban kitchen and munching on home-baked pizzas, pulls out the projector and starts making plans for the new season. There are vague references to profits and revenues, and there are doubts. The original vision, and the original dream for CSL, doesn’t quite make it onto the kitchen table. September 1: CSL opens its $5 per player registration and drama ensues. This drama llama, unlike other domesticated drama llamas, was raised on the robust mountain grass of green eSports dollars. The CSL administration proceeded to split at the seams: one faction against another. It was unclear, in these crucial 24 hours between September 1st and 2nd, whether CSL would continue on time, or even continue at all…
CSL: 1 up Season 2 (September 2-) It was then, that a message of hope arrived. One nation, two Collegiate Starleagues. Would CSL, Inc. and CSL+ become the MSL and OSL? Could CSL survive the break in management? On one hand, there was CSL, Inc.: Promoting the First College Starcraft Scene
CSL encourages all colleges and universities in the United States and Canada to compete in our unprecedented league. We host a wide range of events throughout the year for teams and individual players. Our innovative tournament formats, dynamic reporting systems, and insightful rating systems will create the new standard for league play. And then, there was CSL+: Ever wonder what it would be like have your home team play against your biggest rivals -- not on the football field, but instead on the virtual landscape of StarCraft?
Welcome to the CSL.
Our Mission... is to create a StarCraft league for students throughout North America founded on the principles of teamwork, fair play, and good sportsmanship.
Collegiate StarLeague... was founded by gamers, run by gamers, and aims to bring gamers the best possible competitive experience. Our goal is to help make e-Sports a reality here.
So, will you join us and play? Game on. And game on we did. It begins, Round 2. Rally the troops! Does anyone remember a week in September, when teams gathered far and wide, huddling together in the Teamliquid Blog section and figuring out how to meet in real life for the first time? Here, let us take a moment to remember their absence, honor their efforts, and mourn their defeats – and, above all, let us hope to one day meet them on the battlefield. September 5: CSL+ forges ahead with its planned All-Star Match. September 6: Teams, in the meantime, concentrate on more important aspects of CSL. To interviews and photoshoots… [Photos/Interviews] Duke University vs. New River [Interview/Photoshoot] S'all About the Duke Hype [Interview/Translation] UCSD CSL+ Team!randomKo_Orean says: DIEEEEEE DUKE DDDIEEEEE DIIIIIIIEeeeeeee To priceless quotes like these: Mike Chen says: I attribute my win to Jack's snsd mousepad. It was like I was grasping stuff when I was moving my mouse. This mousepad gives you two ranks. The offending mousepad. Try to guess the missing girl. It goes to show that CSL comes from the people, and the very strange circumstances that being in an intercollegiate Starcraft league can put you through.
The Collegiate Funleague [pu]Magneus: I find it amusing how we're finding ourselves dealing with so many icky issues like this. T_T. The growing pains of the CSL+! Are we the Collegiate Starleague, a league for competition, or are we the Collegiate Funleague, something that reaches out to all college students in the name of fun? Can we be both? In our infancy as CSL, we have to come to grips with these problems. Nothing comes without controversy, really, and Season 2 brought up fundamental questions about our purpose. Free agents would let everyone participate in a Collegiate Funleague, but then, where would the "Collegiate" part of Collegiate Starleague go? Princeton, with its own lost puppy mercenary, ended up incorporating [pu]Magneus as one of their own. Magneus came to practices, hosted BBQs, and exchanged terrible jokes with us. He also happened to say this: But for the ones who succeed in raising a team, they'll have the pride of founding and coaching a team of nooblets, and maybe, just maybe, one day they'll look back on their program and proudly watch them go to playoffs.
Although I've loved every single minute of my time with Princeton SC (<3 all of you), I don't think it's fair to allow mercing. If the league rules to ban mercenary/free agent players from the CSL+, I will stand down to honor the will of the league.
To the CSL+ admins: Keep doing a wonderful job. Let's make sure this league is still around when we're grandparents.
Best of luck in the rest of the season, everyone. -[pu]Magneus Here’s to making sure this league is still around when we’re grandparents.
That brings us to today. The Western Playoffs Xeris A Western: Fall of the TitanLast year the CSL was dominated by the West – with Berkeley reigning supreme, lording over all other teams with an iron fist. UCLA displayed a high level, matched only by Berkeley, losing to them in the final of the UCPL. This year? Oh, how the mighty have fallen! Berkeley lost one of its most integral members Lore, and their superstar Yosh. UCLA’s lineup was little changed, but due to unknown reasons failed to live up to the hype. New Stars RisingUC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, UVic … all relatively unknown teams rose from obscurity to become the talk of the west. Most notable is UC Santa Barbara, who didn’t even have a team in last year’s UCPL but played the season showing quite a bit of kill. UVic has CSL’s most deadly player, the shadowy baechigi, who went 9-1 in the regular season. UC San Diego has Xeris, the second most handsome admin beside Artosis and a few other strong players too, who have generated some noise. Intense MatchesTwo of the divisions ended rather tensely – West Division 2 saw UC Irvine and UC Riverside battle it out in the final week for the second playoff spot, with UC San Diego having already secured a berth. In a highly anticipated match, UC Irvine surprised many (but not me) and ended with a 3-1 victory over Riverside to end up taking 1st in the Division due to a tiebreak with UCSD. In West Division 3, the University of Arizona was able to advance with the 2nd spot due to having a tiebreak win over Rice. Preparing for the playoffsThis coming weekend will be the first round of the playoffs –eight lucky teams will have the chance to battle it out to possibly lose against Duke! Who will it be? Odds are, it’s anyone’s guess, as the West seems to be pretty evenly distributed with talent. Let’s take a look at the bracket: It is likely that UCSD and UVic are favored to meet in the finals, but UCSB and UCI both have the potential to score some surprising upsets. Will one of the West’s Cinderella stories end up as the CSL champions? Time will tell. The Eastern Playoffs d3_crescentia This past week in CSL+... The Northeastern TheaterIn East Division 4, MIT and Tufts dueled for the right to the second playoff spot. High expectations were placed on MIT due to their solid performance last season, but a surprise upset by Harvard dampened their chances for a playoff spot. On the other hand, the newcomers of Tufts University have had a strong showing, with their only loss so far to the undefeated McGill. Spirits were high, and the matches were intense. Tufts set the tone of the match in the first set with their Terran, William Lee, breaking the temples on Neo Medusa and decimating the base of MIT veteran Haitao Mao. MIT responded with the strength of their Protoss players with early Arbiters in set 2's PvT on Heartbreak Ridge, and a surprising one-base carrier rush in set 3's PvP. MIT's 4-0 Zerg, Thomas Roxlo cleaned up in set 4 and MIT emerged victorious, in the second playoff position of East Division 4. Result: Tufts 1 < 3 MiTChaos in the CenterEast Division 2 featured not one, but TWO interrelated matches that will determine the playoff participants. In the final week, there was University of Western Ontario vs. University of Toronto on one hand and University of Waterloo vs. Ohio State University on the other. Toronto is currently leading the division at 5-0, while Ontario and OSU are at 4-1, and Waterloo at 3-2. The end result could have been a mess with the second playoff spot to be determined by tiebreakers between three 4-2 schools... or even worse, BOTH playoff spots remaining in contention between three 5-1 teams. According to division administrator DarthThienan, "East 2 [was] a craphole of complication". While Waterloo versus OSU was a definitive 3-0 victory for Waterloo, Toronto versus Western Ontario was closer than previously believed. Sets were traded back and forth as substitutes were slotted in for missing players. Set 4 featured a surprising upset by the substitute Ontario player, Kevin Kang, as he defeated substitute Iefnaij. Not to take defeat so easily, the pair found themselves in a rematch on Destination on the ACE match, resulting in a Toronto victory. Results: Toronto 3 > 2 Western Ontario; Waterloo 3 > 2 Ohio StateSweet SixteenThe playoffs start at the end of this week. As a man of the East Coast and Princeton fanboy, of course I'm cheering for a Princeton upset of Duke, however unlikely that appears to be. More likely, however, is a Duke v Toronto showdown in the Ro8, where both universities will pull out all the stops. Could we see a potential Iefnaij vs. Nony match? Time will tell which other teams will emerge victorious, though I also expect Georgia Tech and McGill to pull out ahead, having both been Ro8 contenders in the previous season of CSL. An Eastern conference finals between McGill and Duke would be quite epic indeed, though perhaps not as much as a rematch between Duke and Georgia Tech. COMING TO YOU THIS WEEKEND, NOVEMBER 28-29!!! Stay tuned for streaming information.
If you’ve read this far (or just scrolled through it all for the pictures), congratulations! Thanks for reading, thanks for participating, and thanks for supporting CSL+. We stand for Starcraft, Starcraft baked goods, KPop, and all things good and wonderful. WATCH THE PLAYOFFS. GO PRINCETON!

I really wish I went to a school that had a CSL team. Gonna try and start one up here at Mt. Allison next season. For a small school, we have a ton of Korean and Chinese students, so there must be at least a few gosu...
Either way, go U of T and UW!

CSL's come a long way. Hope to participate next year as I actually got wind that my school has a CSL team. I was quite shocked to hear about that.
But props to everyone who makes it happen. And KPop is <3. KPop + SC makes just about everything better.

Xeris, don't you think it might be prudent to be a bit more respectful? Certainly, Chicago's dropping out of playoffs is a terrible disappointment, and indeed a shitty thing to do, but do you really think it was professional for a league admin like you to bash a team like that?
Try to set a good example for the rest of us, man. I'm sure that I speak for many when I say that we're thankful for your leadership in the CSL+, but we also have high expectations of you.

I'm able to separate my persona as an admin from my persona as a participant from the league - maybe some people are unable to do this...
As UCSD's captain, and as a person who has put a LOT of effort into every match, it's really fucking annoying to get a free win at this stage. One, I was really excited to play in the playoffs and help my team win. Two, it sucks for the teams that Chicago beat out only to drop out. Three, they didn't even make an announcement of withdrawing from the league so league admins could have organized the next team to replace them. Four, it's annoying from a fan perspective because what if there were people looking forward to watching this match.
There are tons of reasons why I, as a player and UCSD captain, am really pissed at what they did. If you guys can't handle bad words then I don't know why you're on a bw forum.
If you think my posting this shit has anything to do with how I behave as an administrator, then you simply don't know me at all.
Oh ya and it's also really fucking annoying because I can't play next weekend, and (if we lose to UCSB) this might have been my only chance to play in the playoffs, and Chicago dropping out kinda ruins that for me.
It's just fucking annoying, especially when I plan my day around it because it's such an important game only to have them blow it off.

why didn't CSL pull another team into the playoffs to take place for chicago?

because we haven't heard anything from Chicago, so it could still be that they will play on Saturday. I'll still play them on Saturday if they come.

Hm. We didn't know until last night maybe? They haven't responded to emails at all in the past week. That's the main reason - plus, we haven't been asking other schools from that division to prepare for playoffs, so they might not even be ready.

Oooo. So the CSL is a couple times a year, then? I've been thinking of getting people together for a BCIT (Vancouver, BC) team for when I start attending there since I've already starting meeting people at the school. It'd be interesting to participate.
Looks like a lot of fun! Who usually commentates these? I know Cholera has done a few commentaries.
Also, lol @ MITHero ceremony.

also, take a look at the next schools - three of them are 2-3, and two of them are tied at equal set wins/losses at 10-10; it'd be a nightmare to calculate tiebreakers.

Yeah sure, get a school up . The next season is planned to start sometime in February, registration the month before. Commentaries are pretty random / voluntary - diggity and cholera sometimes do some (more last season than this) but the playoffs usually have some big name commentators .

Not active? !!! How dare you ;P. Yeah the forums there are pretty inactive, but the Matches and Standings section is updated every week. Umm.. As to actually times, those don't usually get released unless it's a "match to watch" kinda deal. For the playoffs though, I think we're trying to get the times from the coordinators, and release them sometime Friday? =[. Really depends on the coordinators to tell us though.
Reading TL is decent for knowing what's up in CSL as well. But finding out game times is usually word of mouth / TL =].

Actually, I wouldn't have made a team regardless. I'm too new to the game. I'd like to find a team if one already exists, though.
What's the story behind "Vancouver"? They got beat pretty badly. Was that a Vancouver Community College team, or just odd-picked students from all around the Lower Mainland?

It's a college based in Nanaimo, just a couple of hours drive from Victoria.
You should wait until UBC makes a team. That's when it'll get interesting.

I think if more BC'ers knew about the CSL and put the effort in to organizing teams we'd dominate the entire league.
Just 'cause, y'know, we have so many asians. lul.

i'm glad the west is quiet. it's more surprising when we beat east.

Hmmm... I'm not enrolled in my college 'til March or June, so I definitely can't get a team together. If both parties are willing at the time, could I request to join another team such as UVic? The site rules say yes, but the catch is I'm not actually in school yet as of January registration.
Just curious. Don't worry, uVic, you're just the example.

you're welcome to join our team for next season. Schools are allowed to have "mercenaries" that are C rank or below. However, you cannot play for us in the playoffs according to the rules.

FUCK YES GO RUTGERS
That was quite a writeup. You guys (and gals) have done a fantastic job.

congrats to team UW, everyone predicted a loss but we took down the undefeated McGill valiantly.
quick recaps: uw)master (P) vs freaky[mcgill] (Z) (Shades of Twilight): master knew he was in for a rough time against this mcgill ace. he tried to compensate by making just a single cannon in his natural, while freaky went 9 pool and quickly overran him. 0-1 UW.
uw)gerbil (ME) (Z) vs pho[mcgill] (P) (Ride of Valkyries): with a pylon denying the natural hatchery and zerg's choice to go 2 base vs f/e, protoss had a slight early lead. Zerg went for a 3 hatch mutalisk build, sniping the first corsair and 2 probes early. However, protoss went for constant corsair production and added a second stargate, somewhat of a counter to the Zerg's build. In the midgame, zerg added a 3rd and then 4th base and protoss harassed with the corsairs, showing intentions of corsair reaver harassment. Protoss expanded the middle island base, but zerg had 4 (purely saturated) bases running. When zerg dropped and killed the protoss' third, even a carrier followup wasn't enough to keep the protoss into the game. gerbil beats the undefeated pho, 1-1 UW
uw)jackass (Z) vs oneday[mcgill] (Z) (Neo Medusa): jackass went 12 hatch and oneday went 12 pool. oneday hid 6 lings and as jackass went to attack with his, oneday snuck into his opponent's base and killed 8 (!!!) total drones. However, jackass pulled his lings back to defend, and decided to go for a ling allin as his only chance left in the game. oneday built 2 sunkens but they were taken down by the lings. while losing most of his stuff, oneday managed to get 3 mutas out in hopes of ending the game. However, in the meantime jackass had built 2 spores in his main. with 0 drones left, oneday conceded the game. 2-1 UW
uw)monkxly (Z) vs s.un[mcgill] (T) (Heartbreak Ridge): monk went for a (slightly risky) 12 hatch, and s.un went 2 rax, in a bit of a panic, monk built 6 sunkens in his natural as defense, while s.un comfortable took his own natural and started macroing up. monk went for 3 hatch muta, and as the mutas came for their harassment they did crippling damage, killing about 10 scvs and 10 marines. This was enough for monkxly to come back in the game, and even gain a slight advantage. As the game progressed, monk took his third and s.un went for a standard midgame timing push. as monk's macro fell off a bit, things were looking good for s.un with 150 food vs 90 food. However, as monk hit hive tech, a long winded zvt began with many expos and expo-snipes. In the end, monk expanded to the middle and was able to keep s.un from taking a 3rd. As monk added ultras and things, s.un starved out and conceded. 3-1 UW GG.
once again congratulations to our team, and for everyone else, this won't be the last time you hear about us :D

duke lost to PRINCETON!!! YES PRINCETON!
McGill got raped by a little school called University of Waterloo
and UCSB got knocked out so early, but who cares about the west
Now i think everyone's got a fair chance in the Easter to win this.

you guys should rematch. Tournament shouldn't be so serious

Well. It wasn't rape was it? Freaky didn't lose =p so 1-3.
And UCSB took a set of Texas - Texas is very strong, they went through the regular season with only 2 set losses...

I don't think our guys are gonna want to deal with the forfeited match considering our whole team was pretty pissed about having to wait for 30 minutes after assem's game ended. I know it's not your fault, but I'm sure tanman either can't or doesn't want to invest more time on CSL since he's a soon-graduating Grad student, and the final exams are next week. I don't think he was too happy about spending 2 hours waiting for his match getting his match canceled, and he surely wont want to deal with another scheduled match. And if you guys do win that match, things are gonna get out of hand trying to contact Masterasia or Assem for the ace match, and scheduling a match before the game against Waterloo is gonna be impossible.

Uvic definitely has the easier side of West conference. Im not knocking on their skill level, but it would have been nice to balance out a little more. Since UCSB and UCSD are really good schools and they were clumped on the bottom of the bracket.
However, here is hoping its a Uvic vs Texas West final. However, UCSD definitely will bring Texas to 2-2 and we probably have to decide it in the ACE.
Whoever wins the finals, we hope the games go smoothly and are GM. I can't believe some players act like they do during in-game matches and say things that reflect poorly on a school. Cheers for Mona, Xeris, and Darthien for holding such an organized tournament.

What do you hope for "balance"? If UCSB(1B, eliminated in playoffs R1) and UCSD(2B, got a free win in playoff R1) are "really good schools" and should be saved somehow, who are not in playoffs?

Which is why there aren't playoff subs allowed this season. zz.

moto hasn't done anything bannable-worthy in the CSL, therefore we don't exclude him. What people do in their personal lives / outside the CSL isn't our business o.O. It'd be up to the team coord/coach to disallow him from playing. He has BM'd once in the last reg season match, but that by itself isn't immediately bannable.

There was a reason capo is always put in and i am not. that fact is besides the point. i just think theres too much room for abuse with subs. for instance, if you have 2 zergs of similar skill but one doesnt like zvt or something, a team can just have him not show up and replace him with another zerg who is better at zvt. obviously you guys probably were not intending to do that, but i think it is a possibility in future matches if subs are allowed.
You could come up with every possible loophole in the league rules, or you could just play the game and hope that everyone has as much respect for it as you hopefully do. There are limitations on everything to minimize abuse, but to take away something just because it can be abused is just silly.
ie. someone who owns 2+ computers (sometimes 1) could theoretical have his "whole team" in channel, when it is really just one guy. But obviously, we can't do anything about that so why bring it up?

+ Show Spoiler +Set 3 Winner: UW)Master:
Question: Congrats on winning your game! How do you feel about winning?
Master: Uhm, very good and assem is a solid player so worried a bit before the game but my dt drop worked well so i could start with advantage
Question: You did an early dt drop
Master: Yes, before my natural expansion
Question: You used recall very effectively in this game, how do feel recall is overall on outsier?
Master: Outsider is a big map and there are plenty of places to, so recall is really effective on outsider
Question: When did you feel like you’ve won the game?
Master: LOL I did many recalls so it is very hard to tell, but when I recalled at 11 o’clock and destroyed 3 CC’s
Question: Now that UW is in the Eastern Division finals, who do u think would be the most difficult opponent? (This was before results of UT vs Princeton)
Master: Hmm, the player would be JF since he is the best Canadian player And I guess PU will be a more difficult opponent than UT since they have great pace beating Duke and UT (probably)
Question: How will you prepare your next match?
I will get a person to practise with as I prepared this game with LegendaryDreams yesterday(about 8-9 games with him)
Question: Is there anyone you’d like to thank or something to say to your fans?
Master: I really thank LD who practised with me yesterday, and I will keep up my sc skill and show great results for Ro4 and the final
Set 4 Winner: UW)JackAss:
Question: Congrats on winning your game! How do you feel about winning?
JackAss: Well I knew I was going to win when I heard my opponent is C/C+ toss I was just worried about the ace match vs the A- zerg guy
Question: Your opponent tried for a early zealot rush, how did u feel that changed the game?
JackAss: I somehow was expecting him to go stargate, and I was just being lazy and didn’t scout well.
When I saw all those zealots, I made 2 sunks and tried to block the entrance. But there was an opening and all the zealots came through.
I kinda panicked but I did my best to block it. I knew it wasn’t the end of the game though, so I did my best to come back in the game.
Question: You went for a fast contain, how did you think that worked out
Jackass: That worked pretty well. It wouldn’t have worked well if he had better micro or better macro, since I was behind in the game after the zealot rush. But I pulled it back.
Question: When did you feel like you’ve won the game?
Jackass:When my 2nd expo was running and was going for 3rd expo, I knew I won.
Question: there anyone you’d like to thank or something to say to your fans?
Jackass: Thanks to all the uw members who believed in me and my gf. I wanna add gj for assaulty, and I believe someone owes me a bj. I don’t remember if it’s you or master.
(assaulty interview coming soon)

We all know JF would've won the ace match. AFK.
Kidding.
Regardless, congratulations Princeton! Another upset by the underdog.

Western Division 2 is the best division in CSL. UCI vs. UCSD in Western Finals.

No way you Canucks and New Jerseyites will be able to handle either of SoCal's mighty twin teams.

Hopefully, you guys didn't take my trash-talking too seriously And congratulations to UCI, Princeton, and Waterloo for making it this far. I'd never have imagined that CSL semi-finals that did not include Nony, JF, OneOther, masterasia, Assem, baechigi, Freaky, and other great players from all sorts of schools. I think it just goes to show that the competition was much closer than it looked like on paper at the beginning of the season...and that the individual league is going to produce some freaking sweet games.

we are like the 07 new england patriots. sweeping through the regular season, looking unbeatable. then we get cocky and get our asses bitten by well-prepared strategies in one match that actually counts.
congratulations to all the remaining teams. i must say i am very surprised at some of the playoff results so far. our loss vs princeton was obviously the biggest upset, but i did not expect uvic, toronto, and especially georgia tech to lose before semifinals.
i am looking forward to next season. seeking vengeance and you damn know we are going to prepare next time around

They are without Agony so its going to be hard.
|
|
randomKo_Orean said it.
Depth is the name of the game in the grand final, since the format is to be Bo7, not Bo5. Most teams will be hard-pressed to field six competent players.
|
You know what else? We're confident vs UCI. They 3-1ed our B/C-team, but no one faced the real wrath of our A-team, with exception of University of Texas. That doesn't mean we're gonna bust our fucking tail practicing.
The thing is, nobody got to see what UVic had in store. UCI was just another warm-up match to the finals...
|
|
Looking forward to the next match. A true battle for Asian Supremacy.
|
Can't wait for the Western Conference finals. :3
This is why you can't say "this is just practice" You're most likely to make a mistake and drop the ball.
|
Talk is talk, but last time i remember, UW beat A- Zerg, former progamer who played and beat savior and anytime, and has been underrated every single week.
We'll win this shiz ez kk?
On a more serious note:
Waterloo's lineup is seriously deep, and we really don't see our A-lineup been any weaker than their A-lineup. UW team's strength is in rapid development, as the team quality raised significantly throughout the season. We are seriously looking for a Bo7 format where we can field our 6 best players. Master has definitely the best PvT in the league (Master vs Assem outsider). Jack has the best zvz in the league(Ezly A-/A) . And any of our top 6 players can take games from B opponents with practice. Our lineup has been constantly shifting because ALL of our players are so good. We also have very dedicated practice partners who help the main players out.
If we win vs Princeton next week, grand finals would be definitely EPIC.
|
|
|
glad that strategy worked out for you :D
|
but yep, what randomkr said is quite true. I practiced for the utexas game like 20 games vs opponents and another 15 times vs comp in single player to get my build down... I'm kinda bummed I didn't get to use it T_T
|
Keep in mind Princeton had to forfeit one too. If given a choice between forfeiting the the first game vs. last (that may not be) I'd rather forfeit the last. No excuse from UofT
|
Princeton forfeited the JF set (2nd set), so some might say it was a bygone conclusion.
What people don't know is that set 4 was actually a secret forfeit by our player, probably because we want future opponents to be as much in the dark as possible about our game plans
|
|
Yes this rule does not make too much sense. Sth like 2 spots for each team getting into playoffs, and 2 spots for other teams in each division...

yeah i might need to get someone else from my school to be the coordinator next season. This is twice we've lost because I was really bad at selecting players for maps

What is the map pool for this week?

Come on, be honest now, would he really have beaten JF? =3 Regardless of forfeiting or not.
All in all though, still congrats to Princeton once again! Although I'm cheering for 'Loo, I wish you luck in your future match.

Well, it's a homegrown and rather successful league. I don't see why at least the finals don't get more attention and hype than this.
