It's so annoying when you maynard a bunch of probes and they all get stuck in between gateways on the way to the natural -_-

Just now I was playing a pvp where I needed to pull probes to defend, just as my nexus was finishing, and just when I looked to pull them, I saw a group of them bouncing back and forth in between my gateways ._.

Should I put other buildings in that area instead? I've never given my gateways positioning much thought...

How did you place your gateways? I know that if you place your gateways vertically instead of horizontally your probes have trouble path though them.

0 -> gate way

place like: 00

instead of:
0

Ah, I always do them vertically so yeah that's probably the issue... although they fit much better than way in a lot of bases :-/

I have the same problem as microneisia. Placing the gates horizontally kinda makes it harder to fit more gates in most bases. And even if they fit, it makes moving units around the base harder. Especially goons who happen to TRY to get stuck at times...

Yea, I agree. Placing gates vertically is much, much, nicer in cramped bases but if you place them horizontally units path better. (Especially HT, which seem to have a large collision size).

Actually I believe this bug is a result of recent patching, I do not recall it happening EVER before 1.15

can anyone confirm this?

happens with SCVs too. in TvZ, don't place your first two barracks vertically, if they're gonna be between your main and your natural.
