I didn't really think I had enough information to post this in the tournament section so I hope it's ok if I made a blog.
Essentially the Olympics have a bunch of smaller events during the off years and the "Asian Indoor Games" is one of them. This tournament is being held in Vietnam later this year and will feature Starcraft as one of the "e-sports" categories.
I couldn't dig up much about the event other than a post from last year announcing the event. Has anything happened since then? If you are Vietnamese and know something about this event could you post what you know here. Also, if you are from a nation that is a member of the Asian Olympic Council have you received any information about qualifying for it or anything of the sorts?
I am sorry if this is not a suitable post but I really want to know what's going on with this event, it would be a great opportunity especially for countries that are unable to send a player to WCG this year.

I fired off e-mails to a few Olympic councils (namely Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia and India) to see if I could get any information about the event and if they were planning on sending players to Vietnam for the event. I hope I can get at least one of them to respond.

edit: double posted sorry
