Orb is my computer-gaming buddy, and we're quite content to waste entire days doing that. When he's out of town, I generally stop playing entirely, o.o; However, if there's another LAN in the future, I would love to go again. I had lotsa fun.

I'm starting to look at dates that might work for another meet up.
Looking maybe possibly at August 28th/29th weekend right now. I'm going to be out of town for a week and a half during mid august. I'll definitely try to see what works best for as many people as possible. I'll make sure to keep track of names interested though and keep everyone updated.

I hadn't watched the replay until now, but now I see why in game 4 so many dragoons glitched out (usually it's only one or two, but this time an entire control group did and I was like wtf?), it's because of the bridge they were frantically trying to cross, and they ended up getting bunched up on the bridge and their dumb pathfinding glitched out so many times that they just stopped. You deserved to win that last game. That game was filled with crazy glitchy stuff. Like how the freak did a DT get into my base early on? I was raging about that... Crazy close calls with mines too. I actually planted a mine then as it popped up I shot it with the vulture so it wouldn't take out 20 scvs. And then you use the bridge to your advantage to smash my first push then a bit later another bridge glitches like 10 goons. Really sucky... That second push was out of desperation really I knew I was behind at that point and had to do something...

That was a siiick play =). Nice writeup Lucky, and good job in the tournament. The 3fac vult game was especially cool to see too, ive heard about it but the execution skills it requires are insane.
I think the winner's match finals between Lucky and Suppy were the best games of the night...Suppy's comeback was so unexpected and his defiler control was absolutely mindblowing, even when he had soo few actual troops.
Nice blog man! Really great writeup, it definitely was so fun and exciting. Lots of good games, I'm still working on finishing watching the other replays and watch the orb vs Luckyfool matches too. I'll scavenge around for game 3 that I might have saved but I'm not sure. I was definitely lucky that Luckyfool had to play like 9 long games in a row before the finals, I mean I was even really tired out just by our first bo5! He had to play like 14 games straight so I don't even know how he handled that, it must have been hella exhausting man! There wasn't a loser bracket disadvantage officially, but that was probably a big disadvantage getting all tired out anyways ;o
It's great to hear that you're planning on organize another one, I'm glad that you guys will keep doing them Everyone here is really awesome and it was much more fun than any of the three Berkeley LANs that I've gone too. Lots of people seem really willing to do all of these too, so you guys could do them pretty often too I think! Thanks for the great games and the blog and everyone for being so cool!
Dude I'm still tired. I was about to log on sc to play a few games last night and was like, no.
Saturday was pretty much 10 hours and 23+ games. The day started exhausting with these really long TvT's and ended even more exhausting with these epic bo5's. I played in all 3 bo5 finals. That was pretty crazy.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat though rofl it was epic.
Dude it's a longer drive from me to ur place than it was to the LAN on saturday, u know that? rofl. half hour is nothing though, I'll be there but only if there's gonna be brownies.
Storr's place is like 15 minutes or so from where the meetup was on Saturday.
If ppl aren't doing anything on Friday night it'd be awesome for anyone to come, there'll be pizza and brownies and 10+ newbies playing sc into the late night.

Such fun times last night seriously. 4 TL members and some cool random newbie friends were there.
Torenhire hacking (LOL!) a 39 kill dt from storrzerg, a 22 kill wraith from storrzerg. (fukin storrzerg ROFL) and one of the biggest air battles u'll ever see were just some of the fun times. We spent half the night laughing over random shit it was awesome. :D
I took some videos too maybe I'll upload them. LANS are too much fun. :D

A 500 supply goon army, made possibly by 800 supply maxes in Team Melee games... Epic times rofl.
Oh and the next meetup will most likely be sometime during the last week in July probably @ seoul pc. I might start a vote and send out PM's to like 10 ppl in the area on what day works better for them between like July 29-31st. Or ppl can pm me or whatever. I know tossinyosalad also has expressed interest in hosting a LAN @ his place sometime soon in MD which might be better for all the MD people who had a longer drive last weekend they would have a shorter drive this time.
We'll see I'll make sure to keep people updated on stuff...

WTF. I haven't seen shit like that happen in a long time. Usually the dts just glitch around outside, this ninja dt glitches straight into and through the rax like it was nothing. HAX!
