I've made some new high resolution screenshots, and since there are like 6 of them I've decided to make a new post about them, not just update the previous one. This batch features playes like ret, Xiaozi (yes, finally a TvZ!) or Strelok, and other surely just as good players, but I didn't/couldn't check/remember their names
Links to the previous screenshots:+ Show Spoiler +
The long awaited TvZ shots: ret vs Xiaozi on Othello, ret laying biomech siege on the zerg's 2nd nat: (I'm trying it with thumbnails, click on them for full resolution)
Mutas raid Strelok's base on Destination, with mech reinforcements incoming:
bonus: the same huge group of mutalisks just flying over the middle bridges of Destination:
And some PvZ: Zerg just camping all over the lower half of Destination: (btw this is the biggest shot I've done yet, it's assembled of 16 screens)
The above grouping, joined by freshly spawned Ultralisks, engage the almost maxed protoss army:
bonus: the few remaining troops battling, with puddles of zerg blood here and there:
That's all for now, I hope you like them. Feedback is still appreciated, and feel free to add suggestions on what to snapshot. (I'd love if you could point me directly to a replay)
Oh, and since you seem to like polls: + Show Spoiler [Yeah baby, I'm about to vote!] +Poll: What size wallpapers would you like to see, should I make some?( Vote): 1680x1050 ( Vote): 1440x900 ( Vote): 1280x1024 ( Vote): 1024x768 ( Vote): I only use hot chicks for my desktop anyway! + Show Spoiler [second poll] +Poll: A new blogpost for a new batch of pics, or one post updated regularly?( Vote): Just update one post again and again. ( Vote): Keep them coming like this. ( Vote): You're overdoing it with polls.

its so amazingly nice ! i LOOOOVE those screenshots. Tell me how you do them exactly. I think making a screenshot and then move the screen in bw and make another one to put them together doesnt work so well because you can't know where you exactly made the first shot.

I might include some instructions and tips for the next batch, if "how" remains a popular question. I'm doing exactly what you said, and it does work well All you have to do is create some imaginary control points for yourself on the edge of the screen, like some part of a unit, or some unique landmark, then it helps with assembling too. As a thumb rule its better to overlap them more, as losing some space from the edges of the big picture is no big deal, but going back to an exact/close frame in a replay to take a screenshot of some missed out area is a huge pain in the ass. I know, since I missed an area of about 20x100 pixels in the middle of the "zerg camping" one, thank god it didnt have movement on it:-p

I like them a lot. Some 1680x1050 wallpapers would be sick. Perhaps people can link you to some good replays to make some from.

more battle scenes. fantastic job though keep it up!

First picture is such a nice scene

Seeing more than one-screensworth of starcraft at a time has given me a new appreciation for the game.

I dunno if you've seen this yet, but it's really really useful http://www.starcraftresolutionhack.de.vu/
Delete everything in "MenuButtonsPressed.bmp" and "TopMenu.bmp" (save them as pure-white .bmp files) Then open "Resources.bmp" and make it a 4x4 white box (or smaller)
It clears up a lot of room on the screen~

I did hear about it (as I've said in the discussion at my first blog post), but I do not plan on installing it for making these. With the experience I have already these dont take too much time, and I enjoy that time anyway, its simply not worth the extra effort for me.
Thanks for the advice nonetheless, that hack looks sweet anyway

That hack doesn't seem to work for me. It starts lagging hardcore for no reason(my computer is powerful enough so it shouldn't lag)

Awesome pictures. o.o /drool

I dont know when will I be able to do a new batch, I'm having other duties too, and I'm having a hard time finding good replays! I have only one (and a half) new shot ready, but since your interest, I propose a special sneak peak for the few who read not only my blog but the comments to it too The head of Python In return, I'd like to see some votes on my blogposts, and the head of the one person voting one to this one:-p j/k
