Inspired by GOMTvs "statistics" I decided to use some of their, and some of my own "stats" to try create the ultimate player by combining the best traits from every top player.
Offense: July - + Show Spoiler + Defence: Flash - + Show Spoiler + Mentality: iloveoov - + Show Spoiler +Has no nerves. Doesnt lose finals. July( Gillette OSL, and PL grand-finals2007) and Anytime( So1 OSL 2005) might have been the only players to get him somewhat out of balance mentally Micro: Jaedong - + Show Spoiler + Macro: fOrGG + Show Spoiler + Econ management: BeSt + Show Spoiler +It should be macro!!!11. It's BeSts probe-management that controls his macro. His nexuses never stops blinking early game, and it gives him a crazy amount of resources which enables him to make a shitton of units. He does miss pylons and que up units more than fOrGG which makes fOrGG a better macroer from a efficiency point of view. You could argue that due to BeSts rapidly increasing economy it becomes harder to macro efficiently. Army management: Sea + Show Spoiler + Positioning: Leta + Show Spoiler + Strategy: BoxeR + Show Spoiler +No explanation needed. He'll also be inside your head before you know it Harass: Kal + Show Spoiler +I dont think Ive ever seen a more shuttle-happy player in modern times. Playing vs Kal has to be really annoying Multitask: Bisu+ Show Spoiler + Bisu likes doing attacks on different places at the same time. I like watching him do that. Innovation: Horang2+ Show Spoiler +I think Im beginning to like this player. He has showed some well executed cheese BOs lately. He still has a long way to go to be compared to Nal_rA though, especially when it comes to his straight-up play. Adaptability: Mind+ Show Spoiler +In the TvTs vs fantasy in Incruit, Mind really impressed me with his ability to adapt. fantasy was running the show and eventually won the series, but Mind was able to take one game from him, and made the one on Medusa alot more exciting than it should have been. Game sense: sAviOr+ Show Spoiler +No explanation needed. God of sense. My favorite sAviOr moment was his drone under Iris' factory in Daum OSL @ HitchHiker Decision making: Stork+ Show Spoiler +WTF? Stork has good decisionmaking? Who would have thought? Obviously I didnt see him vs MVP(I did!). Yes that was horrible, but generally you dont see Stork doing stupid attacks, and hes a very patient player(except in finals ) Potential: han+ Show Spoiler +A protoss player who beat JD in the OSL-prelims when JD was in God-Mode has to have some sort of potential. OSL showed their match, and it was indeed not two short zealot-rushes. han played excellent, and dispelled a very promising PvZ. Then he met Rock, and we have only seen him a couple of times since then where he has been playing utterly horrible(though the games were short and onesided). Needs to begin realizing his potential soon. Style: YoonJoong+ Show Spoiler +To become the ultimate progamer you must have fans, and to have fans you need a distinctive style. Mystery-Protoss who came out from nowhere to beat Stork PvP in Storks prime back in 2007(very good game, watch it if you havent), only to not play again for another 6 months, has this kind of distinctive style. His aggressive style bares resemblence to Kingdom back in the days, and if he could gain some more confidence he might very well begin performing well in TV-matches(his prelim results have been very good, but he hasnt showed the same in TV-matches.)Like Kingdom his best MU is also PvP, while his worst is PvT. Joker-factor: UpMaGiC+ Show Spoiler +Hes the kind of player you dont want to meet in a BO1. Unorthodox playingstyle with tons of tricks up his sleeve made the koreans dub him post- Yo Hwan. UpMaGiC vs Nal_rA on Nemesis and UpMaGiC vs Pusan on Hitchhiker are two very nice games which displays his unpredictability and rare unit combos Charisma: firebathero+ Show Spoiler +Noone can deny this guys charisma Talent: sKyHigh+ Show Spoiler +12-0 OSL/MSL prelims fall 2007. Then a year of struggling to get over his nerves. And this year he has finally cemented himself as CJs #1 player, and waved goodbye to his TV-match nerves with his 4-0(WL-final) in a incredible high pressure set of matches. I expect a semi-final or final appearance in one of the starleagues this year. Stability(long-term): NaDa + Show Spoiler +No explanation needed top 20 KeSPA 6/7 years(?) Stability(short-term): Light+ Show Spoiler +This might be a surprise, but this guy never slumps. Mostly because hes not generally regarded as championship material, thus his losses arent highlighted as much as Sea or S-Class players for example. He has always been a A-class progamer since his breakthrough in 2006, and always performed steadily. Like Sea, he also doesnt have a particular weak matchup. Him and Sea are the two reasons MBC isnt below eSTRO on the PL rank, since July , Bisu left, and Pusan s perfomances got worse Flair: Reach + Show Spoiler + Ballsyness: Anytime + Show Spoiler + Deceptiveness: YellOw+ Show Spoiler +
Stubborness: Much, free[gm] , Canata, Kal, Hwasin, GoRush + Show Spoiler +
What are your thoughts about these player-categories, and who do you feel fit best in each of them? Feel free to come up with new categories. Try to be a bit creative and have a different progamer in each category. Flash/ Bisu/ Jaedong gets old, eventhough they certainly can be argued for in more than one category.
If the player isnt a known A-class player, regular proleaguer or better, make a small writeup about them(like the ones I did on han and YoonJoong), and give examples from matches where they display the abilities. Dont use retired players please.
Use as many categories as you want. HF

Only really need Bisu though. I do not see your argument?

More like Leta... as long as you have Leta it's fine dude.
|
imo effort needs to be in there... somewhere...

Storms: JangBi We've all seen his epic storm clip against NaDa but every time I see this guy play with HTs he manages to pull of perfect storms.
:D

Army management has to be Flash. It's for a reason he turtles until he maxes out his army! I remember a game not too long ago with him versus Jaedong on a very large map, Flash went SK terran and Jaedong went hydra-lurk. That was simply breathtaking, by both players actually!

just combine MVP, GanZi, and PianO together
there you go, the ultimate terran player

Ok, adding them. Thanks!
Feel free to give examples of other GTFO styles in progames. Personally Ive used floating CCs to opponents main, built tons of citadels in the center of the map, and flooded their main with overlords.

han is too old to have the most potential, I was blown by his games vs JD, but its still not enough Hwasin has huge potential in all MU's but cant put it all together Clutch Play : Casy , when he has a day he can beat every zerg on the planet, even the two best zergs in 1v2 as for the GTFO play, the winner of this category should be no other than The Fiftygatewayman f0ru vs Nada

Some players bloom later than others. firebathero didnt get into a SL before he was the same age as han is now. Much is an even more extreme example, not entering a SL before he was 23(korean age). Clutch play is a player that rises to the occassion and plays better than his usual self, like Anytime vs Stork in the PL grand final in 2008. Casy isnt really that kind of player, or atleast he hasnt been in those high pressure situations enough for him to show it. eventhough I agree that on his best his TvZ is crazy though.
Adding foru to "epic fail GTFO" alongside Darkelf vs Oov

I need links for those games where the players show their skillz0rz. Where are the links?

Bisu should be under Insane Multitasking via dual pronged attacks
