Let's see, after 6 months of mass training for the basketball season, where i trained during brunch, during lunch, before dinner, and after dinner, went to my school's tryouts, got in team, became one of the first people to go the gym before practice and the last person to leave the gym after practice, the first regular season game started today.
well so much for that. 1st game, 1st half, 4-5 minutes into the game, crossover a defender, strained my knee, shot a jumper, swished and-1. my sub didnt make the ft though, so oh well. crashed onto the floor, and didnt come back into the game. Ain't that a bitch?
So right now I can barely stand, been icing my knee for hours and still in pain. Haven't been to the doctors yet, but i suspect its an MCL injury, which may mean i may not be able to play for weeks
Now here I am, extremely depressed and just wanted to get that off my chest. Never suffered any type of injuries like this so guess i'll have to see what happens

First day of football practice with pads, I broke my hand because some ass speared me with his helmet. Then, 2 months later when I came back, I broke my leg when some ass landed on top of me on the ground. Hehe <3 bad luck. Rest up and get better, don't try to play with it still injured because it will never go away if you do.

I went through fallball and winter conditioning for lacrosse, then the first game of the season i snap my thumb completely. Knocked me out for the entire season. The next year, I go through the same thing all over again, play 8 games, then get my hand broken (same hand, different bone) by an ass with a temper problem.
Know how you feel. Hoping for the best

hope you recover soon. at least you swished in his eye

Ah dude, that's horrible. But it's not exactly basketball season for high school or college.

I live in NZ, which is in Southern Hemisphere. This means that seasons are reversed, eg. Northern Hemisphere countries would now be close to summer, while NZ is close to winter
