I don't feel this way about asian girls. I've dated white and indian girls before so don't give me any BS about how I'm just being racist here. For fucks sake, this isn't about how that guy is white--it's about why in the hell she would like him when in spite of his great personality he's essentially going to be leeching off of her for the rest of his life.

So awhile back, I wrote about how I liked this one girl who would never like me back, ever (http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=73421). Well, shit's been mostly ok until she pops up with her obnoxious douchefag white boyfriend (ok I'll just admit it, I'm jealous).
They're in town to see some friends, and since we got some mutual friends, we meet up for a get-together.
(I seriously need to hire someone to slap me upside the head every now and then...)
Well anyhow, we're having a nice dinner, she starts talking about how she's now working for her parents (HK art dealers)--and that's when it begins, when my heart starts beating a little faster, when my mind starts going blank and dreamy, because the whole reason I like her is that she's artistic and noble (only asian non-math non-econ non-CS major i knew) and rich and classy and everything that my crass money motivated ABC ass was not... and her bf is talking about his philosophy stuff (so boring) and how he's going to grad school back in his local state university. At this point all I was thinking is goddammit I worked so much harder than you at life... just because I'm not white you douchefag.
Then I look up from the menu and see that they're having a grand old time doing PDA with each other right in front of my face. Thank god crab legs are a food which gives you an excuse to stare at your plate.
At this point I'm thinking to myself "at least I didn't bring Em, then I'd be making a total ass of myself and ruining a new relationship with the ghost of an old failed unrequited stalker love."
Dinner: fucking awkward as shit. I think she could tell I still liked her by the way I would awkwardly glance at her and kind of swallow and mumble my way through the conversation. When her boyfriend asked her to pay for him, it took all my willpower not to stand up and say that I'd pay for them both and that she deserved someone better.
And later we go clubbing. Second bad mistake of the evening.
So I got piss-drunk at the club, and I think I was itching for a fight the whole evening just because the more I looked at her the more I just felt like I needed to kill something. So in the end I wound up fighting her boyfriend... who went to West Point for a year and knew how to fight. So yea I got my ass kicked, and worse, he thought I was just kidding around with him even though with that much alcohol in my system I really wanted to rip his nuts off. (apparently I looked like a rabid puppy trying to attack a doberman...exact quote)
Thank god my friends pulled us apart, else bad shit would have happened.
This morning, I wake up hurting all over and thinking "shit, Em is going to be wondering why I look like this..." I look on my phone and see a text from Em: "are you ok? herd u hd crazy last nite" then another text "=) when r u free".
don't know how to respond.
I hope she's going to be ok. Em and I, we like each other; XXXXX is just a dream in the air. But god I'm a fucking dumbass...

sounds like this bf of hers isn't even a bad guy (he might be, but you didn't mention any specific examples). It's not his fault the girl like's white guys. What I'm trying to say is that fighting her boyfriend is a terrible way of getting this girl to like you lol. But anyways sounds like this Em is a nice girl, I'd stick with her

LOL you shoulda never even got shit faced drunk to stand up to this guy. If anything you shoulda just danced with every other girl on the dance floor and try to make this Em chick as jealous as possible. For what I am hencing either you stop talking to this girl or either you are just going to make your life rougher by continuing to be nothing but "just friends" with this girl.
