I'm a bit curious to see if there is a difference between which species you prefer to use in Starcraft versus your favorite overall.
I personally am best with Protoss and they are also my favorite race, with Terran right behind them. I've always been bad with Zerg, and my opinion of them goes accordingly. I don't actually dislike the Zerg, but I have to root against someone, right?! lol.
So, I'm curious about if everyone has that type of pattern:

Best with protoss because the units don't die very fast. Zerg is the most interesting to me as far as look and feel.

Also, it seems like as far as progamers go, I seem to like Protoss players the most, (Much, BackHo, Bisu, Reach, Anytime, Kal, Movie, Young, etc.) even though, in general, I dislike Protoss as a race.

I just loooooove it when scvs mine minerals. it's the cool sound that they make and the awesome jetpacks they have. if i could i would choose to be best with terran, but i just can't do it, so i'll accept being a fan.
plus marines are hella cool. so are tanks and goliaths and wraiths.

Zerg (PvZ my favorite MU and watching good zerg players is always pretty entertaining)
Terran (TvP has potential to be good; Mech TvZ and TvT in general suck balls)

I'd love to be able to play Zerg, darkswarm and lurkers and omgwtfbbq awesomeness but I suck way too much at larva management and also controlling large armies and basically everything Z-related. lolol

I started with zerg and have been playing with them since...ever since I saw Jaedong and Savior play at the GSI...totally inspirational.
My actual play goes Z > T > P.
I think I enjoy off-racing more, but my Z is like a solid D as it is...I can't even pull to D+ range. My T and P are both a LOOOT worse.
Watching progames, I like zerg in general because they're generally the underdogs against all the other races...or maybe players more specifically.
