I'm sure most of you are either teenagers or struggling college students and I'm sure you have all your own ways to save money here and there.
Me I'm broke as shit. So I save money however I can, and even if I wasn't broke I'd probably still use tons of coupons and shit because its basically free money anyways and most of the crap is overpriced without them (it's the principle).
So anyways I save money by doing my own haircuts (really a bitch to do the back with 2 mirrors, but saves me over 120$ a year) and I can do my hair how exactly I want it without some lowpro barber shop fucking it up.
As I mentioned I also use tons of coupons for the grocery store or restaurants as I find them in the mail or whatever. I've even read and heard about people who take 100$+ grocery purchases and get them down to like 10$ with all their coupons and stuff (coupon queen).
I never buy certain items when they are over a specific price either. Take soda for example, often you'll see 3for5$ 2 liters or a bottle for 1.10$+ , I pretty much never buy soda unless it's 1 dollar or less (especially since there is CRV/tax here in cali).
And that's another thing, I recycle all my cans and bottles like once a month, not only does this give me some money (again based on principle really, because the way I look at it the gov't jacked my money and I'm just getting it back), but it's good for the economy and everyone and the planet ultimately. I'd probably still recycle if there was no money in it for me.

edit- I obviously use torrents/internet for movies and any software or games also.

A couple of weeks ago I was standing in line at CVS to buy a pack of cigarettes. The lady in front of me had like a billion coupons which she threw up on the counter, demanding bargains. I wanted to kill her. With my teeth.
I save money by only eating at most twice a day.

My hair grows fast and it's thick. I have to get a haircut every 3-4 weeks and it's not 8 dollars lol, its like 10-12 not even including tip.

Its hard nowadays to save money IMO. I also do my own haircuts. I can do some sick high/low/taperd fades in less then 10-15 minutes. Also I buy food at this local discounted grocery store(they sale the shit that doesn't sale at Sam's/Costco to the public without a membership) and this includes the food for my dogs which I go through about 30-40 lbs a week. I buy all my clothes off the net/ebay most of the time excluding underwears/socks. Although I do this all it adds up to is having extra coin in the pocket for party money.
I suck at saving money. I need a wife.

EDIT: Also ditch the cell-phone. Those are huge money hogs, and they're basically worthless.

I get my cell phones for free and save on the water bill by not using toilets.

Because lately I've been more broke than usual, I haven't drank since the superbowl and I don't go out regularly anymore(also I don't do any drugs). I never buy anything except food basically. What does anyone need money for? What kind of question is that?
Ditch my phone? I don't have any other means of getting in touch with people other than AIM and when I'm at work.

I usually make some purchase that's above my budget, and then quilt trip myself into not spending any excessive money for half a year, and the cycle repeats. That hasn't been quite effective though
