The room was cold and dark; you seem to have fallen on something soft, yet you feel around and noticed it was some kind of rag. You tug at it, it would not come off. You lost your screwdriver while you fell.
Crawling around, feeling with your hand, you touch something: you feel something human-like.
A hand, you touch further, an arm. Then shoulder, and finally teeth. In pitch darkness, you feel a person's mouth; hanging open. A gaping maw, you continue to crawl your way through. As you crawl, you touch something very slimy, and slick. You grab onto it and tug at it but would not come loose.
You let go.
Your hands touch the walls, it was not the cold walls of the ventilation, instead, it is hard concrete. You feel along the edges for a door or a light switch, still nothing. You stand up and move along the ridges.
At last, you find a light, and you turn it on. Not all the lights lit up, and when it did, it only lasted a few minutes before burning out. You saw where the exit would be though; to your left. And in those brief minutes; you notice a room full of corpses. The stench could be more noticeable now. You walk all over the corpses and open the door.
The hallway is long, narrow, and the walls are of glass.
You step out of the room, confused. You look at the hall; it looked endless. Both walls showed doors behind them in their glassy tint. You sigh.

Loot corpses. You might come across some drugs on some. And yea who doesn't loot the corpses in games? It's been known since Wolfenstein 3D.

We could probably die from holding in our bowels until they explode but there's no option to vacate them, is there?

Well at least we won't die of stavation now, at worst we can always eat the corpses. Probably would be better if we find like, some food when we loot them, but we have to make do :D

Actually this game reminds me of DukeNukem3D and the space mission. Too bad we havent found the bazooka yet. Im gonna look at the other maps and chapters to see if i found something valuable.

That makes very little sense. I have yet to read one scientific report of someone dying from sleep deprivation. As far as I know the record is 11 days and the guy is fine. Anyway, I just wanted to say that it would be very retarded if we ended up suddenly dying by not sleeping. If anything, make us collapse and fall asleep then something kills us in our sleep.

I'm not sure I understand the paint picture. where is the room you came out of located? Is the long glass hall to the right of the red dot?
Either way: if you are tired and feel like sleeping i'd say that this is your best shot. In a room full of cadavers you have the least chance of getting detected:
You're both hard to distinguish from other corpses(you could put on their clothes or smth) and your smell is overthrown by the smell of the corpses(if there are any "monsters" that have uber smelling).
As for the two other options, I think they're both related. Since you HAVE the option of looting the corpses, and because you have no other way to go other than down the hall, why would you NOT loot the corpses first and then head down the hall?
I still belive that there are clues to be found on the corpses by the clothes they are wearing, the causes of death(gunshot, ripped apart by claws etc.) or by some sort of logbooks or tape recordings or anything.
Ignoring the corpses would not just be unnecessary, but also incredibly stupid.

Do you have any facts? I have yet to hear of someone DYING from sleep deprivation. Therefore, to say it "kills you faster than not eating" is stupid. Obviously sleep is very important for proper functioning, and dreaming as well, but that doesn't mean you die.
Edit: I'm laughing so hard at ruXxar's sleeping with the dead idea. You could simply put on their clothes.

theres a guy in indonesia or somewhere that havent slept for decades and hes fine.

I was looking at the first maps (chapters I and II) and they dont make sense, weapons deck is in located differently in each case.

pic1 is to weapons deck. thats why it has a narrow hallway then its a big room.
pic2 look above. its the big room.
pic3 no pic.
pic4 is the weapon deck and its looking from the side as to above, so its going up into vent.
pic5 is not weapon deck anymore.

I remember there being a news article posted here a while ago about a Korean man playing WoW for so long he died of sleep deprivation (it stated that he was surviving on ramen so he didn't starve to death).
I'll try to find it if I can.
Although, I doubt this'll affect this game, since iirc the guy went like 2 weeks or something before dieing and I don't think we've even passed a day in this game.
