So I have been playing some games since last update (perhaps around 70 games). So far my stats are going same way as last season, perhaps even lower. I think my macro have been improved significantly and mainly my gameplay is better than ever. But still stats are evil
Points 2316 Statistics 58 - 106
Zerg 57-106 | 35% | 163 games ZvZ 18-15 (55%) ZvP 20-44 (31%) ZvT 18-47 (28%)
And some depressing map stats:
| iCCup | Luna the Final 2-14 (13%) | iCCup | Othello 1.1 7-16 (30%) | iCCup | Blue Storm 1.2 5-12 (29%)
So looking to improve little bit and next goal is again to hit 100 win before 200 losses
|
ive probably got to play 14 games since school started o.O
|
Dang, you play a lot of games. I wouldn't fret too much now, the season is still young.
|
A lot fo games? This guy has been crazy on PGT and now he takes upon Icc. Its like never sleeps or sth.

560 games so far.Its NOT a shared account btw, he was always this way.
|
Is this what it takes to become C level or is does this guy just not win much?
|
loooooool
I tried playing as much as possible with school; and I've gotten a total of a bit over 50 games =D

150 games? "Too much" zerg indeed!

Are we really criticising people for massing games now?
Good job imo, hard practise pays off (not that I would know).
|
i'm not criticizing; just surprised at how many games he managed to fit in!

I respect guys who mass games, even though they suck. I like how they are dedicated and play to get better. Some people may like the game but just aren't willing to mass games like that majesty_cz guy. Even further in life, if he finds another thing that interests him, he'd dedicate himself to getting it. A good mindset, a good trait.

yes, it is- hopefully hes not cutting into his school work though. I honestly dont know how I could, even with cutting off other activities, fit that many games in. But, I've never tried it so, who knows.

I think he played 700 games in the course of what? 2-3 weeks?

Since University, there are two days a week I can squeeze broodwar time in.
Although my TeamLiquid time has gone through the roof, since I have an hour break between every class so I just have to waste time... on TEAM LIQUID!
Now I feel like Micronesia, posting this much...

Then there's proof that mass gaming doesn't make you that much better.
|
Lol? The majesty guy played about 3 seasons of PGT. He is an old school player, and in his first season he managed to make C-.
Two seasons and 2k++ games later, He was sitting on B level at the end of the season. he hasn't played ever since. Now he comes on Icc, and makes C rank with 560 games. If he keeps the pace, he will me B+ easily at the end, because of massgaming.
|
If 560 games netted him a C rank, I would say he will get B- tops by the end of the season.

Are you talking about inflated ranks, because those really dont count/aren't accurate.

I think mass gaming is the best way to maximize your skill plateau. You will need some sort of inspiration or epiphany to break into the next level but the more time you spend playing the better chance of that something new dawning on you.
Best of luck, I'm sure at this pace you'll be infinitely better in a few months.
