Not really, its part of the basics of a bbq sauce It just needs tomato sauce and like worchesster sauce to be a full on bbq sauce, just dont load it down with ketchup, or add some water to dilute it :p

you sir are a genius
let me go check what I got in the kitchen

So um I checked my fridge and cupboard and I have nothing -_- literally.
Tell me what to buy to cook a decent meal (something with some meat in it... remember, low budget!) and how to cook it. I'm kind of sick of only making Portuguese lemon chicken T_T.
Thanks!
Your other recommendations sound so good... I'm jealous T_T.

K, chicken is cheap, so that will be your meat. For vegetables, brocoli, green peppers and onions. Get some white rice, then a curry sauce of your choice. If your not a fan of curry, get a pasta of your choice, then some cream and chili sauce.
procedure 1. slice chicken breast(s) into cubes, cut the brocoli into florets(the bush + small bit of stalk), thin slice of both peppers and onions. 2. get a pot going with your rice or pasta 3. in a frying pan saute the chicken, then drain the juices and add your vegetables. 4. Add sauce to pan, or cream + chili sauce 5. Heat sauce, then remove from heat till rice/pasta is done 6. heat the pan with sauce, meat, and veg, then add in your pasta or rice, mix well and plate.

How do I drain juices? ):
Why saute the chicken in a pan? I thought saute meant remove the bones (or is that fillet?). Sorry my terminology is bad I am not really this clueless...
How much should I heat the sauce (to what temperature or setting on stove)?
Sorry so many questions ): Sorry and thank you. It will be about 2 weeks before I have the money to even do all that... But I will definitely make it [:
Any ideas on a cheap healthy food? Even if it's not something that takes lots of cooking, like what fruits/vegetables/dressing that are cheap would you recommend for a decent healthy salad?
|
Oh I just googled saute... I know how to do that xD

here's something easy for you guys that like ramen but got sick of it because they ate it too much.
take a regular ramen, preferably a spicy one like shin ramen, boil some water and throw the noodles in. boil them for a very short time (not as long as you would when you eat them regularly), take the noodles out, get rid of the water and put them in a frypan. now fry the noodles with some butter (or oil, but not too much), add the ramen soup-mix and peanut butter and mix it all. fry until they look good, enjoy!
tastes really good

I wanna do something with my Miso aside from misoshiro (soup). I also got:
cheese nuddles egg rice milk oil shoyu mustard vinager butter chicken
What could I do that uses the miso?

to drain, just like, tip the pan a bit over a sink, and use something to block the food from falling out and your done.
as for cheap salads, just buy mixed greens or spring mix, cut up some tomato's red onion, and some cucumbers, toss it up and for a dressing i personally would use a scallion (green onion) vinegrette, which is just green onion, honey, oil and vinegar. Basically its a 3-1 ratio oil to vinegar, and then honey and green onion to taste and puree.

with what you have if you want the taste of miso, make a very light miso glaze for your chicken, so bit of miso, mix it with a bit of oil, and shoyu, and just put the chicken and that mixture in a plastic bag and let it marinate overnight.
Then, you can just cook the chicken up, and have it with your rice or noodles, depends on what your looking for that night.

Man, with all of wht you have, you could make a very very nice little meal for yourself, but as for what you have to change up how you do your steaks.
the night before, put it in a bag with a bit of garlic, the steak spice, some chopped up onion, and some bbq sauce.
When you go to cook it the next day, toss it on a grill and cook it through. Should have a slightly different flavour than your used to, and doesnt take too much extra effort. Can also wrap those tatters in tin foil and do them on the grill as well to have a roasted potatoe with your steak.
as a note, pick up some chicken or fish, then do up a mango chicken curry with some misc veggies(peppers, onions, broc, zuch, etc...) Or up some nice pastas, you have the ingredients for em both.
