So TL my senior year is off to an exciting start; I'm filling out my college applications, solidifying my role in clubs, and further familiarizing my self with the opposite gender. I have been dating the same girl since my sophomore year and for the first time i feel like our relationship is giving me this stagnant feeling. Now I have been talking to a girl on the bus and in my japanese class and there is potential for something to materialize out of both. I have plans of breaking things of a perusing other women. However, the problem is that my current girlfriend is president of the science club; and i would like to run for vice president this year. So im racking my brain on how to to end things with her so i can "run wild" while still getting the VP position? Im worried she may be pissed and use her authority in the club to stop me from getting the spot. Is it ethically wrong to stay with her until after elections? I personally don't think so since she would be willing to stop me from getting a position i deserve solely due to us not being together.

It's really odd to me that someone with the handle "Haymaker" is worried about not getting his vice-presidency after breaking up with his gf (the president) of the science club so that he can go with a girl he might have potential with based on sitting next to her on the bus/japanese class.

honestly, a new club position your senior year won't affect your chance for college admittance at all. haha, my senior year is kinda like yours. I keep neglecting to start my college apps because I'm so lazy these days. SENIORITIS for the win.

If you dump her and she decides to fuck you over, she's just sore. Plus if she power abuses, then it makes her look bad too unless your school doesn't give a shit about that kinda stuff.
