I guess to beat normal and nm you could do Dragon Tail and or Dragon Flight which does a ton of fire damage if I remember correctly, and dragon flight teleports you to your target, and use fists of fire with Dragon Tail to increase fire damage or Tiger Strike. Remember, you can use multiple moves such as tiger strike, blades of ice, fists of fire, etc, and have I think 3 sets of 3 orbs floating around you, so thats 9 total combo point things, and then use a finishing move and it uses all of them at once. If you get into nm fire is the most common immunity, fallowed by cold, and then lightning, so react accordingly. Make sure you get Claw Mastery and Burst of Speed, and atleast 1 in weapon block so you can block with the dual wield and are very fast / powerful. Unless you are certain you want to be an assassin then I would switch. You will have low str so no heavy armor, and while you're fast and can do some sick damage, you have hardly any aoe except for the small blast radius Dragon Tail has when you kick and the Pheonix strike, but again, unless you spend all your points in blades of ice fists of fire and claws of thunder it will be pretty weak. The reason he does good is because he has the best of the best gear available and tons of charms etc. Playing through quests you need a basic build that works no matter what, not a build that requires merc with conviction and cta etc etc. To your question about the strat you were reading ~ Thats pretty much what I suggested, but you don't have to just stick with tiger strike, find an enemy, charge up fists of fire and tiger strike etc, then teleport kick into a group and spam the dragon tail until everyone around you dies. | ||

thanks for responses so which fionishing move is the best? i've read in the dii.net guides that DRAGON TAIL is the best because it has splash and fire damage and all that? but dragon talon is shorter frames or sth!?!? HALP | ||

Start with a sorc, build one of those budget hell meph runners, run meph until you have mid-tier equipment, and then you can start building other characters. Either that or build a fishymancer (skeles + Skele mastery + corpse explosion + 1-3 amp damage + revives + whatever you want), get to hell, and run hell pits/hell WSK. It might be a bit harder without enigma, but it's easily doable. | ||

Dragon Claw Ribcracker + Tiger Strike Phoenix Strike Flashdancer (Talon + Lightning traps) @.kaz: It really depends on what you mean by good. Obviously, melee assassins aren't going to match the killspeed of meteor-orb sorceresses or hammerdins. But they can definitely make it through Hell (hardcore even) with good play. ETA: I think Nightfish's words of wisdom may apply... Take home message If you take no advice from me, take this at least: If you feel like doing something, do it. Never mind if people tell you it doesn't work, is underpowered or morally not okay. Next time you find yourself asking „is this viable“, the answer is „Yes“. It might not own a blizzsorc's killspeed, but everything is viable if you try to make it work. Oh yea, and don't forget that this is a game. Just a game. Every once in a while there's people that take it a little too seriously and get really worked up about one thing or another. Take a chill pill, guys... It's just a game. | ||
