I am a Banker at Wells Fargo and basically the requirements here are to be really aggressive @ sells and be proactive, etc. (there is alot of banker levels at wells though)
It kind of goes like this:
-Personal Banker 1 Anything that walks in -PB2- High Values -Private Banker 100-500 K customers -Private Banker 500 k -1000 000 mill customers -Private Banker 1,000,000 > custs
So basically if you wanna do investments, securities, insur, etc etc... you need to have a license and take a test... and I havent done it yet.. but I have heard that is really really hard to pass the annuities test..
Some banks like Chase require that license even if its for just a regular PB position... and some require degrees.. but here in Wells u just gotta be good at what u do lol

It seems everyone wants to major into business and earn lots of money. I still can't quite understand the fascination with majoring into business only to see earnings from paychecks. Damn infest didn't know you were such a baller. What's it like dealing with customers and their saving's accounts? Do you deal with a lot of shit from your boss about promotions?

lol, it was funny.
When I was at Morgan, it was common for traders to get bonuses that's like 10x their salary O_O

I was a Finance major, until they tried to validate the concept of money multiplier effect and variable interest rates and such garbage to me. That's when I started to realize I'd probably go to hell if I stayed in that line of work. Capitalism and free market is fine. Finance and how the financial world is actually run? Pure evil.

oh man.. that was awesome
btw, if you're going to sell your soul, you might as go all the way and be a banker, no point in doing consulting

It was funny. The ghetto rivalry between bankers and wall street players.
Never mess with anyone from Wall Street!
