Alright, I'll be setting up a LAN at my place where we will spend like all day playing SC or until we get bored. It will be mostly for my friends' as they are of the same level (about D-/D ICC) and I will be kind of like managing the tournament (no prizes, just for fun, there will be like ~12-14 guys there, and bo3) and since they look up to me, because I'm pretty much a lot better than them (C- ICC, but 90% of you here would rape me) it came to my mind that I would definitively LOVE to use the race that would be the most intimidating for them to go up against (most of them are T's, the winner of the tourney will be going up against me).

So, in your opinion, which race would seem like the most intimidating, scary, etc? Kind of like the guy who says "Ok, you got to 1st place, now play against that guy over there who is the final monster... you will not survive."

I'm thinking of using zerg as they are the actual MONSTERS of SC, but I don't know if Terran or Protoss would seem more intimidating.

Well for REAL intimidation you should manage the lan from a back room with the lights off. When people have questions or you are explaining the format turn on a strobe light and remain out of vision in the room, yell commands at them or explain stuff to them from that room with the light, out of vision.. I cannot stress enough how important it is that they don't see you.

Once the tourney has concluded and it is time for you to play the winner come out of the room with a blanket tied over your shoulders, much like a cape or wedding gown. Punch the shit out of the first person you see. When they are on the ground continue to punch them, this is "Fight Club" esque and instills a natural fear for a violent human being. Once the person is not moving anymore stand upright really slowly and stare down the entire population of the lan. Take your seat at the computer and have your cape properly positioned over the chair, you should seem larger this way.

Once the game room has been made select each race for about 15 seconds, as if you are wondering which one is best to beat him with. Make little chuckling sounds and shake the desk everyone once in awhile. Start the game, leave the game. Do this a few times. Make it known that the game starts and ends as you say. He has no say in this. In fact I'd do it a good 12-14 times, this will seem repetetive but he is inferior and needs to know his place.

Once you decide it is time to play for real select protoss, they are the easiest and most imbalance race it should be smooth sailing from there. If at any point he pulls ahead throw something at him, or shake the desk until things fall. If that doesn't work pull the cord to his computer.

I also laughed at incontrol's idea. But if you think about it... that would work. Really well. Although if they are real-life friends, the odds are they've seen you before and theres no point in hiding. That will just make them crack up when you do all that stuff after hiding out of sight. Now, if all of a sudden you became incredibly serious when it was your turn to do battle, that could work well in your favor.

I don't know how much they suck but, when they are the ones that attack like really late, like 15 minutes, which my friends usually do

, choose zerg take every expansion on the map before you start pumping TONS of mutas or zerlings only. attack when u reach 200 supply, where my friends are usually at 60 supply :D

OMG YES!!

ok go 3hatch but just sunk up (6-7) and straight to hive and ultras. get +1 armor and your 2nd gas as soon as lair starts. I beat people at the C- level all the time because marines with no upgrades do 1 or 2 damage to 3 armor ultras. This is the ultimate newb bashing strategy.
