EHCL, started with a necromancer, quit him about level 33 because of boredom. Made a sorceress, fo/tk and she's in act5 NM, I'll take my time to gather/trade items. The first shenk run I did, I found HOZ. This made me instantly richer, about 400fg richer. Since then I have enough to buy myself an occulus and my MF raises to 50%!

haha nice, diablo 2 is pretty sweet, i've been thinking about getting back into that game as well. Its just so simple to control and stuff. I forgot, what is HOZ again? Herald of Zakurum or something?

i just started D2 again too!

but im playing the zy-el mod, and man, the latest version is kicking my ass. its taking a while just to get to the first skill at level 5, so im basically leveling on quill rats for now. maybe i should switch to a melee class...

On Nightmare Shenk the Overseer, Act 5 first quest. My friends were like WTF?! And yeah, HOZ = Herald of Zakarum. I've been farming countess now, highest rune I acquired so far is Sol rune. I'm going to upgrade it and start making runewords. I'm using The Ward at the moment with 42 resists all, I needed this but since I have The Face of Horror (25!! STR + 10 Resist all) and Occy, I'm going to make Rhyme as soon as I find myself a 2 socket grim shield.

on the other hand i remember i once found doombringer when doing my 1st quest in 5 act while i was level 65 or something and had like 20 mf :D

Not really, in terms of usefulness, not at all. HOZ is relatively way more expensive than Doombringer.

Same. =o Never saw the point of countless runs and crap to increase your stats slightly. In D1 at least its fun killing people, for me D2 got boring once i got all chars lvl ~40 or so (highest was 65~ sorc) when I know what all the abilities do its just about making them better.
