If any of you could point out in what direction I need to go to solve one of the questions, I'd learn that specific part of the course and be able to solve it. It would lead to enormous gratitude.
We need to answer some questions, using the SAS Statistical Program and using the following dataset: clicky
I'll define the variables in english
² Huuralfalfa: average rent/acre of land where alfalfa is being planted on (1acre = 40.5 are)
² Huurgrond: average rent/acre of land for normal weeds to be harvested
² Koe: amount of cows / square mile
² Weide: percentage of the total barn land being used to keep the animals on
² Kalk: Ja(Yes) if extra chalc (kalk) needs to be used to process the alfalfa , nee(no) otherwise.
The questions:
1. Is there a difference between rent of land where alfalfa is going to be planted on or land that can be used for any weeds?
2. In some districts it's necessary to add kalk(chalc) to the landso it alfalfa can be plantes, does this make the rent cheaper?
3. Study if you can explain log(Huuralfalfa/Huurgrond) by squareroot(koe)
For every hypothese you must use alpha = 0.05.
Now is it just me or is this ridiculously hard? I dont expect you to answer the questions, I think that would be too much work, but guiding me towards what distributions/formula's I should use would be really nice.
Thanks in advance, even if you can't/dont wanna help.
