years has gone by, just saying hi to the few who remember me. I still draw I also have my own brand of pencil on amazon: https://amzn.to/3GCwhaR (not trying to advertise, it currently has amazon recommended badge already, don't buy it if you are not into drawing, stock running low and logistics suck!). I did some more work for larger film projects but trying more directions these days. here is my new site:www.ThePortraitArt.com (again not to advertise, i don't really do commission anymore these days):
I definitely remember you! When I just joined the site (10 years ago?), you posted a blog and a very lively debate around talent vs. hard work started in the comments. I don't frequest this site as much anymore and missed probably a lot of blog posts, but will probably remember your awe-inspiring work from that time for a long time still.
Hey Glider, I always appreciated your videos and artwork. I always had some dream that I'd commission your art for something, but it never materialized!
That Vegeta reminds me... I once drew Vegeta from the front similar like that when I was 10. I was super proud of my drawing and even scared to add more details to it, because I was afraid that would make it less impressive.
I showed my drawing to a good friend, classmate of mine. This classmate made a leopard mask in class earlier that year and I remember being super impressed, even jealous he had made something so beautiful.
Anyway, my friend thought my drawing was good and asked if he could have it. I wanted to keep it for myself but It felt like a great compliment, so I agreed to let him borrow it. When I asked it back a week later he wanted to keep it for a bit longer and 2 weeks later when I asked again he said he had lost it... lmao
I wonder how shitty my old drawing would look compared to yours ^^

had that for a while, and maybe 80k on instagram, but subscriber means very little on YT these days unless it is in the millions

I've never worked for a company. Always been a freelancer.
Hey Glider, just wanted to say the art you did for the first TSL is still a super vivid memory. It (accompanied by the music) added so much character to each pregame and played its part in the dramaturgy as well as storytelling of the event to a degree that I cannot accurately put into words. I loved it and am glad to see you are doing fine and still artsing about!
Amazing, it's so soothing to watch you draw and explain. It's so obvious to me you're extremely skilled for you're hitting the proportions and shadows/highlights spot on, really masterful. I love it, I can just watch it for hours.

hehe thx. I have a bit more free time lately so I can make more videos, so subscribe and ring that bell if you haven't already!
Always happy to see your stuff, happy to see you around, and the transformation videos where you metamorphose various scenes from one starting canvas are always cool. Interesting to hear your thoughts on keeping individual touches to your work as AI advances.
