So we are continuing with Starcraft for Advanced Players. First, some philosophical thoughts: we are trying to win too, and if you are winning you have broken the rules.
This is one of the most important political rules, and of course it might be better to view PvZ as a psychological matchup rather than a mathematical matchup. Anyway, I had the pleasure of playing Moo.hero on Fish (which really is rather nice that we can play with Koreans finally). It was a pretty funny game so I have recorded it here just for humorous purposes. My goal with this blog is to record some other stuff, hopefully PvP and to dabble with PvZ.
the first replay: vs Moo.hero
This game seems to me to be an example of the good friend paradox. You and your neighbor feel you are each equally qualified--I am the best player of all time. As it turns out, your neighbor does have substantially more qualifications in your opinion, but not in his opinion. Therefore your neighbor keeps getting farther ahead even though you are the best player of all time. Is Moo.hero really this much better than me? Of course he isn't, as it's obvious I'm performing all but a few marginal tasks perfectly throughout the game. Nevertheless, it is a competitive enterprise and so the marginal questions (which you can see in the replay) imply something significant psychologically.
hot hands have arrived
i am firing up my favorite Richard Dawkins montage to get ready for some more BW today.... we will be trying to cut out a little bit of the meditation training in favor of more BW time if possible
i'm thinking about replacing some of my other gear now that hot hands has arrived. anyone have any suggestions for prime-end bw gear?
