TL
Hey TL, so this is my 7,000th post, Lucky number 7. It has been a long and crazy ride since I started using TL more regularly, during the beginning of WOL Beta. On TL I have grown to become a much better player, met many amazing people, made my fair share of enemies( although I have tried very hard now for quite some time to change the image I may have previously had on TL / the community) , i've born witness to triumphant victories, and the most melancholy defeats, overall I have learned a lot over the past few years on TL, sometimes I am surprised I even made it to my 7,000th post.
TLStrat
I can't thank and appreciate the TLStrategy more for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts / opinions with them on the regular, even though I haven't published any Zerg guides yet, I do have a few things in the works that I am hoping to get published soon, most likely when Legacy Of The Void is less volatile.
Point being, I have met a lot of amazing people in TL Strat, and the TL Strat team has really helped me open my eyes to myself more on an introspective level, anyone who knows me well enough knows that I have had some issues with my ego / attitude in the past, meeting all of the people in TL Strat really has not only strengthened my knowledge for the game, it has made me think on a much higher / less biased level (from a Zerg point of view.)
Shout Outs
Lichter : Lichter probably has the best sense of humor out of anyone I have ever met on in the internet and TL, I don't know any other way to think of you besides tha motha fuckin boss.
SnorWax : Wax is always so calm and collective, just like Snorlax, I think all ESPORTS passion would be dead without you.
Yoshi : One day you will find your true Waifu Weeaboo Maiden, until that day just be happy / positive, either that or Wax / Thaniri were right, you really are the greatest performance artist of all time.
Winks : I respect your opinion / analysis even though we argue a lot at times, you help me realize that I am wrong a lot of the time in my own analysis, it is good to have someone around to let me know I am wrong sometimes.
Jer99 : This guy busts his ass all the time for TLStrat, such a hard worker and overall great guy, i'd easily consider you the back bone of TL Strat, thanks for all of your hard work, I promise that I will have a bunch of Zerg content once LOTV is less volatile. <3
WhiteWing : I am pretty sure I have frustrated you beyond belief when I play Heimerdinger in LoL, or trying to be your support in bottom lane and taking / attacking the CS, sorry for being a newb at LoL. :-D
PiG : Your advice / commentary / coaching & tutorial videos are amazing, the thunder from down under, thanks for always being so cool and answering my Zerg questions :D
Que Ex Cee : I will never repeat your name again.
Bacon_Infinity : You are super cool Bacon, thanks for all of your contributions to the community, and I hope your soon to come HOTS tournaments do well.
SC2John / ESPORTSJohn / LoLJohn / DOTAJohn : You helped me realize the power of the Donger
Jehak : Still not sure if you really have a sister or not.
iaguz : **** you Flick off Terran for life
Monk : We may have gotten off on the wrong foot, I respect you and the work you've done for TLStrat in the past, not sure what you are up to these days but GL in your future. :-D
ZeromuS : Thanks for all of your help, not sure where you are at now but, hope all is well!
Heyoka : Don't know you very well, but I know you are cooler than a bag of ice.
Templar : One day....One day, I will be able to post as good as you.
Nathanias : Great Terran player / caster, really enjoy your casting, but I think we really need to discuss Liberator damage output more ;-)
Tilea : Thanks for saving me the one time in the AfreecaTV showmatch with Arthur, without you it would have been delayed... you're a life saver Tilea :-D
Zealously : Haven't seen you in awhile, hope all is well bro.
Zeth : That one time where I misinterpreted something you said, sorry, and Germany is awesome.
SEEKER: You are amazing for all you do for this community, all of the interviews with pro gamers and much much more, also ........ SEEKER PLS
LOTV
Legacy Of The Void
Playing LOTV has really fucked up my ability / skill in the game, first we had HOTS mechanics, then we removed all macro mechanics, and now we have stacked macro mechanics, I am losing my mind.
AfreecaTV
About 6 months ago or so I left TwitchTV and moved over to AfreecaTV to begin streaming there, it has been quite the exciting ride. Many of you still may not be completely familiar with AfreecaTV Global ( Non Korean Afreeca ), but it has been one of the most awesome experiences of my life.
When I first began on AfreecaTV, me and a friend of mine actually were given the opportunity to cast the first event on AfreecaTV, it was a StarCraft 2 tournament called the "ASS" (AfreecaTV StarStreak)
This was actually the first event I have ever casted before, and it was a big deal because it was the first event on AfreecaTV Global, so NoveaStar and I wanted to make sure we did a blow out job. I was unable to pull together the viewership I had expected, but still it turned out to be a really awesome tournament with great viewership, considering the circumstances.
After the StarStreak we hosted a few other Showmatches, and clan wars. Shortly after the SC2 hype on AfreecaTV moved on to support the next game LoL, NoveaStar continued casting into another event called the LFC (League Fight Club) with a different caster because obviously the events need different casters and well, I do not have skilled knowledge in LoL, and NoveaStar does have a vast knowledge of both games.
I was upset that the person I had began casting with, and had the most amazing time of my life casting with, was moving on to a new event and casting with a different person. I never realized how casting with someone twice a week for 4 weeks would really build up a strong casting chemistry together, to the point where I felt so confident in our casting duo, that I wanted to continue with her, casting was one of the most fun things I have done besides playing the game myself. I was crushed.
Skipping forward, I grew up & realized that I needed to stop being so emo about stuff and just keep moving forward with the team / clan, my own streaming, skill in the game, and hope that one day we would be able to cast again together.
The group of people that I have met on AfreecaTV have been some of the kindest / most interesting individuals ever, everyone really knows each other well on AfreecaTV since it is not as "over saturated" as Twitch, it really gives broadcasters a chance to get a little more exposure.
I always dreamed of streaming on AfreecaTV because I grew up playing BroodWar with Koreans, Afreeca is known on TL to be the haven for Korean BW Streams, it was an opportunity I could not pass up. I strongly recommend any streamers / broadcasters and everyone in general who has not checked out AfreecaTV to do so, give it a chance and stream on there for a week or two, see how you like it. I think you will find it is a much different and very much so enjoyable experience.
AfreecaTV Shout Outs
I know that a lot of you AfreecaTV people may never see this, but if you do....just know <3
Char : Really level headed / cool guy, awesome dancer, and great personality, one day I hope to show as much personality as you on stream.
Bgenso : Thanks for introducing me to MrChae on stream, that was awesome!! <3
Chrissyyy : Marbles > LoL > SC2 > Heroes > Dota2
Piscator : You are a great LoL player, I apologize for the misconception that one time, keep up the good work. And the charity with Jump was awesome.
Jump : You and Piscator do great casting together, the Charity stream was awesome, really blew me away you guys helped the charity that much in 24 hours! Keep up the good work!
Winzy : Welcome to Ever clan, glad to have you on the team and streaming on AfreecaTV. Keep up the good work
NoveaStar : I am so appreciative of everything you have done for me and our team, I would not have been able to get this far if it wasn't for you. When I first bumped into you on SC2 I was going to be your coach, I never thought that the best friend I've ever had would blossom from what was supposed to be a coaching session, then we both started streaming on AfreecaTV, we casted the StarStreak as I stated before, you were nice enough to cast a lot of the clan wars / events solo or with other casters, etc.
You are an amazing person and I honestly don't think the team would be the same, or AfreecaTV would be the same without your broadcasts, I have never met a person quite like you before, and I am almost certain I never will.
I am blessed to have you as a friend, thank you.
