Humanity has failed. You can continue reading if you want, but humanity has failed. If you are human, you have failed. I've failed, too. I'm not sure if greenelve2 is human or just an alien trolling. But there is so much fail. When I look at a globe of the Earth, with all the bright-colored countries, azure oceans, and a piece of tape going around the middle that represents the equator, all I see is absolute failure.
You want to know what happened? You want to know what prompted me to write this? Well, let me explain: The other day, I was sitting down for a glass of ice-cold lemonade. I love lemonade. I don't love lemons, because lemons are sour. But when life gives you lemons, dilute the sourness with a massive amount of water and pour a massive amount of sugar into the water. Then you're almost not even consuming a lemon anymore; you're consuming like 99% sugar-water and 1% lemon, and 100% reason to remember the name. But back to the story. I was drinking the lemonade, and then like 15 minutes later, humanity failed. It just failed. I couldn't believe it. It was my presumption that the entirety of humankind couldn't fail simultaneously, but it happened. My eye twitched spontaneously.
So now what? Well, we must begin by asking ourselves two simple questions: 1. How can we prevent this from ever happening again? and 2. Why did this happen in the first place? And let's address that first question first because it's the first question. First, we have to realize that we failed. Hard. Then we have to stop failing on a global scale. The only way we're going to do this is to not fail so hard next time. I think this has two steps: first, plan to not fail, second, execute the action of non-failure. We also must address number two. Fecal matter is a matter of reality, as a matter of fact. We need to accept it and move on. But now to address 2. Why did this happen in the first place?
The reason humanity failed is kind of existential. Now, if you're still reading this, and I do suspect you are based on the fact that you are absorbing these very words into your eyeballs, you may be recognizing a theme developing within the bowels of this blog. For within every blog, there lurks a theme. Why it 'lurks' instead of just hanging out and being chill is beyond me. However, we must realize something vitally important: 99.9% of things have a 'cause'. Like, me typing this. Why did I type this? Because humanity failed and then my fingers started moving. But the reason humanity failed is because humanity has failed. Our only recourse is to not do this again.
