EPTIt's been a few days since our last episode of the Archon Super Series and we just want to do our post event wrap up blog
Mondays show went really well, we were missing some of our regular participants but there were lots of new faces in the chat and it was overall a really fun experience. MC is a really great guy and a pleasure to work with, easygoing and good with the viewers. He also promised to come back on the show in the future so we are quite excited for that possibility. Like usual, there were some great things about the show and some things that we didn't like too much
Things we liked
1. Like we said before, MC is a baller. He was nice to the viewers, put on some great games, was overall just a wonderful guest. He even agreed to reschedule his show on short notice, while preparing for the GSL, just because we screwed up and accidentally scheduled a time during IEM Taipei.
2. We saw a lot of new faces. This is a very affirming sight, especially since a frequent comment we saw in the chat was something along the lines of "I don't know why more people aren't watching this". We were a little scared during the first few episodes because even though we thought the series was a great idea we weren't getting the results in terms of viewership to confirm that people felt the same way about it. We also like that people have been talking about the event with their friends, it's that sort of grass roots peer to peer growth that we think is the most significant and influential.
3. Every time we put on one of these shows we get a lot more confident with our casting/hosting/observing. there are still a lot of things we need to work on but I would say the quality of our show has gone up quite a bit since we began.
Things we didn't like
1. A sound issue has resurfaced where our microphones are only being heard in one ear. We have fixed this issue in the past but it has come back again.
2. We were playing some music during the preshow setup and twitch decided to mute the first half hour of the VOD. quite annoying.
Coming up!
There will be more Archon episodes coming up in the future for sure, we are trying to make arrangements for a guest but things are difficult with WCS, GSL, and SSL all in full force. Let us know who you would like to see and we will do our best to get them on the show.
In other news, we may be making some casting appearances on another twitch channel. More details will be announced later!
