No, you quit because you don't have the heart of a champion, you don't have the work ethic to grow stronger, you don't have the humility to understand that you aren't the best, the fastest, the smartest and always need to be growing. Do you realise some people just see it as a videogame to have casual fun while they have 100x more rewarding and fulfilling lives outside battle.net? Or do they have to sweat blood otherwise they are not worthy of playing?
No, man. It's all about hate. You have to hate it so much, that you scream KHAAAAAAAN everytime you log in.

Dude you are so full of shit. Pretty much nothing of what you said is accurate, I mean, how can you be anything less than grandmaster and have any kind of opinion on balance? I sometimes feel the way you do but instantly tell myself I'm full of shit, I can just get better and beat whatever is feeling frustrating to me.
And whining about smurfs makes me think you're probably nowhere near GM.

Im missing broken mmr and terrible blizzard servers in there. And for the intro something like "I am gm level player stuck in plat" would have been great. But nice read notheless.

So true. So true...

The complains about "terran" and "smurfs" are pretty absurd - yes, there is one toss unit that is stupidly bad agains terran, so just don't build it, right? and there are not even remotely many smurfs as you believe, it's just you are not as solid as you think so sometimes people of similar skill beat you on some weak point of yours.
On the other hand I understand the "mutas" pain - while they aren't OP at the top level, they are extremely annoying for a lower-level player to deal with. That's one thing that the competitive TL population stubbornly refuses to understand - for the game to be popular, it has to be balanced at all levels. Of course, to be a good competitive title, it needs balance at the pro level, but to keep a healthy playerbase of noobs (which is crucial for long-term viability), it needs to provide a good experience to them. The "balance only for top level" mantra is doing much more harm than good to the popularity of SC in general. But you can rest assured that it was much, much worse in BW ...
Anyway, I have solved the muta problem a long time ago and came out really happy - I play Zerg now, come join the SWARM.

God forbid people want to play to have fun and not to become the best. I quit SC2 1v1 not because I didn't "have the heart of a champion" or "the work ethic to grow stronger", but because it a) I wasn't having fun anymore and b) I had other, real life obligations that demanded my attention. From a gameplay perspective, T and P have plenty of design flaws, and TvP is a matchup in which both races are basically shoehorned into certain compositions. It's not really fun if you can't use half of your units.

If he's bored, that's fine. If he wants to do something else with his time, that's fine. If you're not having fun, it's fine. But if you play a competitive game against another person, and then lose, and your only take-away is "That loss was bullshit", then you aren't thinking clearly. If you are a casual player and have no desire to improve, you should not cry when you lose.

The best solution to see how the balance really looks like is to play race/tactics you find broken. It does wonders when it comes to fighting bias. ;]

guess who I will mass mutas against now

Highlighting this wonderful post, I hereby petition to make everything sc2 related on TL (eg Maps & Costum Games forum, Blogs, etc) read-only for everyone not having an active GM account! Also, for obvious - skill related - reasons, GMs from SEA, TW, China and NA and EU have to be excluded as well.
Making TL a better place for everyone some.

Once I used mutas vs the Templar and he rage quit sc2 but he is also a guy a who bc rushes the ladder for no other reason than because he can. You rage quitting ladder is your choice but it's a cowardly one

So im back to playing sc2 lol.
Idk why I came back since:
1. Gotta love it you can lose if you thoguht you walled off but there was a space from a ffe.
2. Just played a 45 min game vs someone who went swarm hosts, i won, but do I really want to play 45 or more min game every time a zerg goes swarm hosts? No. Gotta love that unit!
And yes, it is accurate what i said, its not fun to play against mutas, swarm hosts, terran harass and smurfs.

Congratulations, you nearly were abstinent for 16 hours! Actually probably not that much since you already played 2 games before that post.

Nina is right.. Come to bw

For me, the competition is fun. And start learnign to beat muta players, and you'll find it fun to play against. if you really don't want to change your ways, SC2 is not your game. They're working on fixing SH things as just announced, which I'm sure we're all happy about, but you need to understand that you can't always play exactly the way you want and expect everyone to fall in line and die.

I was hoping this was some sort of satire, but it seems, sadly, that you are serious.
