Once again, this has proven to be correct, and the best gift i received was a gift, that meant much more to me, than anything someone could have bought me. This special gift i received was given to me by my exgirlfriends sister, and especially since i never expected to even get a gift from her, she surprised me by giving me one. For some reference, i already wrote about my exgirlfriend here: http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/461813-girl-blog-when-the-past-gets-you
Everything about this present started, when i got home on christmas eve, which is the traditional day to give christmas presents here in Germany. I got home at like 9pm, was really tired because i had spent all day with my family, and got on the computer to chill for a bit and maybe play some games. Went online on facebook, and there was a message: "Call me on skype, we have to talk!".
So it be, i go online, and she's online too, and as she sees me online, i get a videochat request. I'm like whatever and take it, and she is somewhere outside, obviously freezing and waiting there for at least two hours (since that's how old the facebook message was). At first i didn't recognize the place because it was dark, but as she starts talking, i realize it's the graveyard, where my exgirlfriend was buried. My exgirlfriends sister then proceeded to lay down a funeral wreath on my exgirlfriends grave for me, since i couldn't make it this year, so her doing that for me was basically her present to me. It's not much in money or effort spent (i mean, it's two hours waiting at least which is impressive, but not too much effort in preparing it), but it really touched me, and i could not have thought about a better present for christmas. I was literally in tears because it was so sweet.
This little moment just once again showed me, how much little actions can affect peoples lives, and it brings a tear to my eyes, that there are such kind people out there.
Just wanted to share this little story with you, have a good time this holiday season
