It is kind of hard of hard to explain but in my own personal experience from having played BW on all different kinds of setups, everything feels more natural on the more old school peripherals, it would be sweet to play BW on an old CRT Monitor, oldschool keyboard / mouse!

In the beginning they were just the cheapest and easiest to come by. Most of the pros just got used to them so they stuck with it. People thought there was some secret to why they used them but there really isn't.
