About two weeks ago, the folks who made Surgeon Simulator 2013 (Bossa Studios) asked their Twitter followers to find a name for the game’s protagonist’s dog. Given that the main character’s name is Dr. Nigel Burke and that I am incapable of not replying to tweets in pun form, I sent them a message saying that he would have named his dog Dr. Nigel Barke.
I received a DM from them later that day requesting my real name and address. On Tuesday morning, I received an envelope from them. For the first time in my life, I thought,
Oh, this is really cool. I should probably make an unboxing video. That’s the kind of thing that people do. Yeah, a nice video of me opening the post. What a totally normal thing to do.
