Sake is owned by chef Shaun Presland, who has made numerous appearances on Australian television as the token white guy who specializes in Japanese cuisine. His philosophy is giving a modern take on Japanese cuisine, while keeping it applicable to local Australian tastes.
Since I'm not a real gourmet who only on rare occasions eats awesome food like this, I'll just post pictures and descriptions of each meal. For reference, the menu set we orded was $88 per person and the sake bottle that we got for the night was $78 (since I didn't take a photo of the bottle, it was the Amabuki Yamahai Junmai Omachi).
Enjoy the phone camera-quality food porn.
