enord France258 Posts December 26 2013 22:43 GMT #1 hi, contrary to a sad youthful disdaining belief there is not only one brand of bm, and while i completely subscribe to one sane and usefull sort that does exists / persist, has always existed and will always exist.. i come here today to erect a tl landmark of sorts (that might only matter to few) declaring that most of it is not! .. and furthermore, although some old''er" people might fancy that it was worse before .. it was not there is a distinct trend that has brought me to type the words erring before your eyes: kids are poty mouths earlier and earlier, unknowingly, under false pretences and following useless unexistent goals ; stemming, i "hope", mostly from their own insecurities inadvertently showcased .. to put it simply, from a harsher world build every second of every day kids being:+ Show Spoiler + instead of being:+ Show Spoiler + sc2 ladder is quite lucky to not be as bad as other ladders are frankly, but that is only a subjective ratio-ed success and i suppose no one can say that they have not encountered bm on ladder or on the chats or indeed on forums while many will chalk it up to poor upbringing, pcness gone haywire at some point or the world coming to an end or some other bull .. the fact remains, that disengagement and lazyness are this era's weapons of choice for its own destruction few people actually take time and efforts (not to mention copious amounts of their patience, this chipping down at their steellined character and (arguably) taking time out of more important endeavors) to work to reform these bored nitwits out of their particularly useless and smelly pastimes "takes two to tango" will incessently retort the lazy people advocating to ignore these pestering self absorbed chums ... but this demeanor is actually the main root of the problem shittalking should have its place (and it arguably sort of used to), it should never be commonplace nor complacently ignored ... just as a for instance, twitch chats are mostly cesspools because of lazy moderators (some are awesome and i feel indebted to their resilience and patience for they are indeed leading us out of the hell we are in) this is the internet, not a sewer .. my skin is thicker than a stan lee rhino and i'm as dark as the starless night knight, that is precisely why i do not i agree with letting racists, bigots, simpletons or other retards "letting off steam" for the enjoyement of supposed other "fail at lifers" .. it is precisely why (when they appear) i stop having fun and start actively "retard blocking" by countering their every typing, advocating that they should learn better (or even that at least they learn that they are able to learn and that they were wrong at every turn but that that is not the end and they can make amends and be a force for improving the place themselves) .. usualy getting insulted for minutes on end until they get bored of being blocked, which is more than their peanut will manage (i dont mind, while they are insulting me, they arent insulting scarlet or jews or blacks etc) i admit i don't care about reforming most of them, i am old and know that my one attempt in itself is not enough to change their sad ways .. but if there were less placid "internet is dead" collaborationists i would not have to try as hard or as often... the trick is, if no one does it, the other readers will comply and join in the cesspool the place might still be as awful by the time my kid gets in here, but at least he'll know how to deal with it and i'll never be ashamed of being part of the problem since i'm part of the solution and he will be too now is the time!!!!+ Show Spoiler + anything is possible you can be a part of something awesome+ Show Spoiler + this is the place!!!+ Show Spoiler + be all you can be!! h snap the demon's neck and use it as a blowhorn! reclaim the field of daisies so you can pee proudly on it again clear up the farts so you can puke with no remorse gravel fuck the turds so you can bm properly + Show Spoiler + the trolls are dead, lets bring em back to life+ Show Spoiler + tl|dr: why would i indulge in this bad habbit of tldrs, it is another sign of these sad times that this is even done + Show Spoiler +
