This is my first post on the site, so I apologize in advance if I posted in the wrong forum or anything like that. I have been browsing TL for a while now, but have never felt the need to make any comments or topics, but that is clearly changing. Anyway, to the point of this thread.
I recently commissioned and then purchased a plush ultralisk from Boro (her TL profile: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/profile.php?user=BoRo). She used to post regarding her new plushes, but there have not been any recent ones, so I decided that I would post regarding my experience and her products.
I don't know if any of you have tried to buy StarCraft-related plushes, but they are seemingly hard to come by, at least from what I've noticed. Anyway, I somehow managed to get my girlfriend to like StarCraft (break for applause), and she decided that she liked Zerg the best (break for boos). Of course, as a new Zerg player, she decided that her favorite unit is the ultralisk. Even though plush StarCraft anything is hard to find, I decided that the best present for our anniversary would be a plush ultralisk. I then commenced thorough googling and ran across Boro's website. I found that she has made some adorable StarCraft plushes before and also that she had a nice link that read, "HIRE ME!" I then took it upon myself to hire her. There was no sign that she had ever made an ultralisk plush, but I decided to email her asking if she could make one. She said she could and that it would be possible to split the payments for it (I am a freshmen in college, so I'm not exactly swimming in money all the time). She also confirmed that she could have it ready by the anniversary date, which was great. I emailed her two months in advance, but it's still awesome that she could be that flexible with payments even though it wasn't a large amount of money. I was also able to essentially customize the colors and that was no problem for her. In four days, she had a sketch of the ultralisk ready and wanted me to confirm it so that she could buy materials. She sent regular updates throughout the process to keep me informed of the progress and to gauge when it would be ready. About 10 days before our anniversary, she sent me an email with pictures of the finished product and told me that it was ready to be shipped. I made the payment (shipping was free) and the product was sent to me a few days before our anniversary.
My girlfriend was extremely happy with her present and then immediately went to Boro's websites to look at her other products. She promptly instructed me of the other plushes I am to buy her for the following holidays (easy on me, I suppose). She took a picture of the ultralisk:

Her service was truly exceptional and I was happy with everything. We could not have been more happy with how it turned out. My girlfriend was completely unaware of the entire scheme and everything went perfectly according to plan (even hiding a huge box in my dorm room was somehow successful). And now, I have again emailed Boro about purchasing a zergling for Christmas.
However, the point of this post is not to tell you about just my experience, it is to also tell you that you can be lucky customer of Boro's great work. I had the best customer service possible in my opinion and there isn't a part of the process that I would have done differently. I strongly encourage you to buy any one of her Zerg plushes or other products. Whether or not you play Zerg, these are amazing plushes that any StarCraft fan would enjoy; plus, they are super adorable. There are some pre-made and others that you'll have to request. Although the holidays are approaching, I have been informed that she will have multiples of some of the units ready by then. She in no way told me to write this nor am I getting any sort of compensation from making this post; I just wanted to share my experience with all of you in hopes that you can get a great product if you so please. I will attach links to Boro's websites so that you can see what she has and don't be afraid to email her with questions. She has pictures of her products (including the ultralisk) on her website, so just look around a bit if you have time!
Thank you all for reading and I hope this was helpful if you were looking for any quality StarCraft merchandise!
