Nice to have you back. I wasn't around TL at the time when you left but even in the past several years, the community has changed greatly and so has the scene. This will help you catch up: Lots of crying in the SCII forums about SCII dying and such. HoTS was an ok change with the widow mine but mech is still not viable(more anti-mech units in HoTS). The Starcraft scene had major changes. MSL became a music station and last two OSLs were won by Jangbi against Fantasy. Proleague switched completely to SCII after a horrible and unspoken mix of the two termed Hybrid league. KeSPA announced LoL Proleague and some speculation that the next SCII Proleague is the last!

Some SCII teams have folded like OGS, TSL and Zenex while others have merged. BW teams that disbanded are STX even though they won the last PL against stars(beat SKT in close games, KT got stomped though(KTFlash)). The remaining members play under SouL in GSTL. There are talks of stars disbanding though its speculation. Team 8 got a sponsor, now called Green Wings. Teams look to be downsizing. Baby is now on KT. SKT got Parting. TL got some new players in Snute and they have herO and Taeja who's been rocking things lately(won last Dreamhack). Jinro and Haypro both retired a while back. Jaedong left team 8 to EG and he keeps getting second place(nicknamed Jaekong ><). Idra was forced to leave EG after a stint with a TL member in his fanclub. Stephano also left EG recently and Thorzain doesn't play much anymore.

Less tournaments in SCII. Still have DH, IEM, Iron Squid but no more MLG, GSL or OSL. It's now all WCS regions (WCS AM, WCS EU and WCS KR) then WCS points into blizzcon(top 16). GSL/OSL named WCS KR with GOM and OGN alternating turns at holding it live. KR SCII scene is still alive but less interest and audience causing downsizing of teams which can explain some players quitting the game. Code S and A are still as competitive as ever with KeSPA players. RorO won last season of WoL GSL against Symbol. Soulkey won season 1 of WCS KR against Innovation, formely known as Bogus who won the season 1 finals against sOs(game 4 recommended on youtube). Mvp, MC and Nestea aren't dominating as much as back when SCII was first released. Rain(formely By.Sun) won first SCII OSL after bursting onto the scene taking out amazing players only to be stopped by mvp in a close 3-2 series. Maru beat Rain in second SCII OSL 4-2 and claimed the victory. Life isn't doing as well anymore(LoL is playing a role). Flash has improved greatly at SCII and keeps making RO16 only to get close to RO8 then lose the last game(he lost last night against Maru/Parting/Kangho). Stork said he won't quit yet, finally made the Code A qualifiers and is up against Yoda.

KeSPA has taken a new stance in that they are the major body for esports and anyone can join them. They can help you promote and if you join, you can make decisions with them. With most things changing to SCII, BW scene is now entirely made up of SOSPA events like SSL/SRT run by Sonic which are featured on snipealot's stream and players streaming on afreeca. Lots of BW players have retired such as Bisu, Jangbi, Best, Jaehoon, s2, mind etc... They stream BW on afreeca: http://multitwitch.tv/snipealot/snipealot1/snipealot2/snipealot3. Snow, leta and horang retired a while back. Snow is studying now for college and Leta is looking at running his family business of selling shoes. Saviour supposedly backmouthed BW on his stream and mostly plays LoL now. Sziky is best foreigner and can take games off Korean pros. He's won the last 2 TLSs and TLS 3 is currently ongoing on the weekend(Saturday and Sunday). Also, new BW server called starserver is in the works. Should have automatic port forwarding, automatic matchmaking etc... This should help you catch up

Sounds like I should start playing league of legends now instead of SC2 haha.

My advice: play what your heart tells you. You can't do wrong

Does anyone know why Twitch isn't saving my streams under my videos? Having an archive of my games to watch as an improvement tool is one of the biggest reasons I'm streaming!

Nah my BW days are over, if I can't focus on it hardcore it isn't really that entertaining for me, and I would rather put all my energy into SC2! Might play a bit of iccup sometime for fun though :D

I've never tried streaming so I'm not sure but there must be a setting or a checkbox under settings for save videos or something. Just a guess though lol
