I know it's a repeat, but until you made it clear that you changed your mind I guess it doesn't hurt...
Don't do it. I don't know much about your condition, but it seems to be fixable, while losing your eyeball is for ever. Think about a year from now and how each choice will have affected your life by then.
That's for the repeat. Now, meditation. It's really boring at first, but believe me once you get it, and you definitely have the time for that, it is nothing like sleeping. You're not doing much, I'll give you that, but it's something that can make your whole life a lot better. Imagine turning this hard time in something actually useful... Way to say "fuck you" to a crappy condition...
And if sat meditation is too boring, there's yoga, which also has the side effect of making your body look and feel better. And if you are able to do sports, dance and martial arts both can be done eyes closed, with a strong focus on your sensations.
Sure it's not all too exiting. But a few months are nothing compared to a lifetime, even though it may feel like eternity right now. Don't fucking sell your eyeball dude.

first of all thanks for all the replies guys and for you,i again thank you for your advice, but I can see why you think im being over dramatic. For you it woud be ez because you study eyes all the time so this stuff is ez pz for you. its not just you its all the surgeons and optomitrists iv been too. Just a word of advice from the patients perspective, plese consider the fact that people with eye problems are going through stress (im a 20 yr old that cant read properly dammit), so I think eye docs/specialists should be a bit more considerate because you may understand the science and the solution to my problem but I as the patient sure dont, and not understanding the mechanics behind a problem that is affecting someone is frightening. but still i appreciate that fact that a optometrist in training is giving me advice
Trust me, I understand from a patient's perspective that often doctors may not always be the most sympathetic of people. I've gone through stressful medical procedures in my life and had nonchalant seemingly uncaring surgeons through it all.
As others have stated before though, losing an eye is a BIG DEAL. I agree that this is stressful for you and I wish I could offer you some sort of temporary solution; all I can say is this is one of those things that you'll just have to wait and see for yourself and you'll see how worth the wait it really is.

Responding cause the thread caught my eye. It's easy to get too focused on imediate suffering and lose sight of the big picture, but you should really reconsider your decision, and when i say reconsider I mean drop it, forget the idea, put a lid on it.
Keep your vision on the big picture here, it's losing a freaking eye!
Sight.. I don't know how to make you see that it is a horrible decision...
I guess I will be keeping an eye out for how this develops, good luck!

the thing is with exercise (physical) is that i lose control of my eye = headaches so yeah. i just need something to pass the time besides meditating (im indian and i dont believe in spirituality so...)
also i dont think i phrased this properly. my glasses arent for the surgery. they are another solution. if my glasses dont work then in September the surgeon will consider surgery

Get a fuckton of audio books, I recommend Haruki Murakami, David Foster Wallace, or any other post-modernist/modern writer. Hell, have a friend pick out an entire best 100 books of the century/ever and play them all while you build eye strength. While I understand this is experimental, as WaveofShadow said, stick it out. Audio books and podcasts from Itunes U on subjects you like would be very fun, as much as it sounds boring; I really fucking enjoy it, and reading is great. You could turn this into a crazy productive part of your life, or you could do the opposite and smoke weed to pass the time, either way you just need to pass the time. Pretty existential actually lol.

There is no beliefs in that, it's not a religion. That you're not interested is fine though.
Well if you're dead serious, I guess good luck with your search. To be honest I don't see any phycisian even accepting to take your eyeball off. You may actually not have a choice but to go through it.
