Hey guys,

Another update to the blog on here, a few people asked me a while back to create a progress meme of some sort , so here it is.

My journey began around 2006. There was other bits a pieces before that mainly cartoons and comic type stuff. 06 was when it began though after a summer with my Auntie Helen in England who taught me a different kind of drawing.

The journey has been a bumpy one and will continue to be as I learn more. What this meme doesn't show is all the times I failed, all the times I doubted myself, and I still do to this day . When I look at someone a million times better than me now, I still feel shit . What you have to accept is hard work will get you there but in your own way and style.

Maybe if anyone knows any young aspiring artists they can show this to them, to hopefully inspire. I remember seeing one of these years back when I was starting out and didn't really believe in it , the whole 'progress' part , but yeah it exists alright .

So yeah , hopefully this inspires some people. Everyone and anyone can draw, it is most definitely a skill that is acquired over time. What separates artists is really a matter of dedication, perseverance, hard work, and accepting when you fail and move on and learn from that. Also having a real passion for it will help.

I'm still learning and I have a huge amount to still learn. It's been fun creating this and seeing my journey so far..
